Ted stays in office because he is Royalty. In a monarchical system and in a wannabe monarchical society the right of a man to be king does not depend on his ability, his viewpoint, or anything else rational- just his bloodline. If Teddy were rendered mute and unable to think by some brain damage he would still be returned to office. The Northeast part of our country is full of old time tories, royalists whose idea of Good Government is the Good King who cares for his subjects. Remember JFK and Camelot? JFK established the rightful Dynasty and if Mrs. Clinton manages to become president the Clinton Dynasty will be the rightful heirs of the Kennedy Dynasty.

Massachusetts, one of just two states to lose population since 2004.

I will forever love Ann Colter for mentioning Chappaquiddick on FOX and then saying, "What? We can't mention it?"

from Wikipedia South Vietnamese President Nguyễn Vãn Thiệu appealed to Nixon for continued financial aid. Nixon was sympathetic but the U.S. Congress was not, and the move was blocked. At its peak, U.S. aid to South Vietnam had reached $30 billion a year. By 1974 it had fallen to $1 billion. Starved of funds, Thiệu's government had difficulty even paying the wages of its army and desertions became a problem. On the other side, PAVN received billions of dollars in new equipment from the Soviet Union.
