Romney is a good politician in that he's slowly convincing the public that he's much more Conservative than he really is. Is that what you're saying?

Reagan was a trained actor, do not forget it. And what I mean is this: since any action [or inaction] of politician is [if implemented] going to hurt somebody, or at least somebody would imagine that he's hurt, telling the "I am going to hurt you" truth in advance is a wonderful way of advancing the politician's career. Was it Mondale who told that he considered the higher taxes necessary?
