"... how much is a ride on the Flying Castle worth? What do you charge these days, Bob?" One might well ask, what price sanity?

I believe the Chinese knew exactly what they were doing and have just sent a message to the U.S. Just as they previously sent us a message when their undetected submarine surfaced 5 miles from our fleet during exercises. They're testing our political waters, too, checking to see if anyone takes real action.

I guess one gage would be how much a psychiatrist charges to restore it...
Of course, I'm not really sure what sanity is...

If you think you may not be fully sane, you are.
"... how much a psychiatrist charges to restore it..."
How can you slake your thirst from an empty bucket?

I had to post and run earlier - and I didn't realize until I got back that we've moved already!
Now I need to unpack the Tax Table.
To: fanfan
Is that at a spa?
I've never been to one.
To: rottndog
I didn't need to look up the cites - gifts and awards was a section in the class I taught last year. But I'm so used to referencing I thought I'd include them. Probably more info than you wanted. :-)
To: tuliptree76
Just tell the
Internal Revenue Service that this is an
External matter.
Besides, they'd have a hard time collecting.
Good Night, Tulip!

No,no...more information is good...
And any opportunity to be reminded how bizarre and complex the tax code is a good one.

Did it get the rubber duckie also?
To: NicknamedBob
Just tell the Internal Revenue Service that this is an External matter.Hmmmmm... I wonder if it would be foreign earned income since it's in space.

In tax, there can be a lot of exceptions - and exceptions to the exceptions.
I've glanced at the beginning of the thread, and now I'm confused. This isn't a ZOT thread, is it? Are we breaking the mold and moving into new territory?
To: tuliptree76; Rb ver. 2.0
No ZOT--Rb ver. 2.0 is alive and well, and a grateful thread hijackee.

At least he doesn't mind us moving the castle into the middle of the thread. :-)
To: tuliptree76; sionnsar
Yeah, that's a good thing, but I don't think sionnsar gave him much of a choice.

I did the bread/milk thing this afternoon. I went to the Food Lion about 6:30 for coffee, and picked up a few other things. It wasn't especially crowded.
Anoreth is supposed to be going skiing this weekend, so I hope it's snowing up at the winter-sports destinations!

Yes, Tulip, it is a spa, and it looks like a nice one.
You MUST treat yourself to a pedicure this year.
My husband and son got one for my daughter and I for Christmas, and she had never been before.....now she's hooked!

It's snowing on my pointed head. I wish I could step through the screen into that spa ... or the tropical shrubbery!
