I have to step in here. I am basically socially conservative. I believe no abortion, no gay marriage etc...However, we are not going to elect a human that is totally perfect. If that were so, they would have no need for God. Newt is a conservative. No, he is imperfect, as most of us are. He would be a good President. Rudy is Americas mayor, very inspiring when the chips are down. This is the reason RATs win. If we cannot support Newt to advance conservatism. Who then?

The reason guns are so high on the list of priorities around here is that without them, a population is basically subjugated. Their government can do anything to them on a whim, and they will be POWERLESS to fight back. That's why guns are so "precious" (as you put it).
