1.respected the 2nd amendment [Overblown rhetoric does not change the FACT that the vast majority of states have Concealed Carry or the FACT that Guiliani would not try and change that though Hillary WOULD.]
2.overturned roe v wade [This will never happen since the vast majority of the voters do not want that and even if it were overturned it would not outlaw abortion. Typical Red Herring which cannot change the FACT that Hillary would appoint judges who would make sure nothing got in the way of the Abortion Industry.]
3.cut the size and scope of power of the government [The only thing that can do this is a change in the minds of the American People. The government has grown because the PEOPLE wanted it too. It hasn't been the result of some Leftist conspiracy but demands by the voters. Certainly Hillary would do all she could to INCREASE the size. But such facts are irrelevant to an ideologue.]
4.acted as a sovereign nation with interests separate from those of other nations or groups [Such mindless babble shows why you will have no impact on ANY election at ANY time.]
How far would the Republicans have to fall away from their traditional views before you would abandon them? [You don't even know what their "traditional views" are.]
What if Hillary came out tommorow and said she wanted to become a Republican, would you support her? [Let me know when she starts attacking the Left and defending the Nation then I will tell you. No one who knows anything about politics would doubt that McCain and Guiliani are currently the leading candidates and lagging the field are those without name recognition such as Hunter, Hagel and other 1%ers. This does not require a lot of analysis.
Of course, YOU prefer to believe that the Free Republic represents mainstream politics.
And rather than admit the candidate has no appeal you would blame ME? How lame can you get? How could the pitifully tiny RINO population stop a juggernaut like Hunter when ALL those conservatives out there hiding in the electorate want him?
Oh, and the little lie you tried to slip in "McGuiliRomney is at the top of the pile not based on their conservative credential" cannot be allowed to pass. No one has claimed their appeal is based on conservativism quite the contrary, as has been REPEATEDLY stated, their appeal is based upon their ability to draw people who are NOT conservatives. Unless that is done NO Republican can win.
