Since California is seriously imbalanced between Dem and GOP, this would translate into a primary victory for both Hillary and Giuliani. However, in the November general election, Hillary Clinton would clean his clock.

any CA clinton-guiliani head to head numbers?
To: BunnySlippers
On one of the threads last night a Rudy supporter gave a huge list of what Giuliani accomplished in NY as mayor. It was excellent. I might recommend you copy that list and put it in every ping before the detractors show up.
I am not convinced that Rudy is right as our candidate yet, but I am listening.

Yeah it's hard to see California being in play during the Presidential election for some time.

Let me see if I can find some.

...but those are stunning numbers for the former Mayor. If present trends in California continue, the Golden State's primary move may just be Giuliani's golden ticket to the nomination. The golden ticket in grasp!

Why?
Can you ame a red State that voted for bush that would vote Hillary over Rudy? Rudy will likely put California, New York, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Pennsyvania in play as well.

At the rate states are moving up their primaries soon we're going to be holding them the year before the actual election.

The more interesting race that day maybe between Hillary and Obama.

Rudy also puts the Northeast in play. Hilary leads by only 2% in CT, according to the latest poll.
Rudy can run the tables.

"Rudy will likely put California, New York, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Pennsyvania in play as well." You need to go back and look at the numbers again, and this time count the new Democratic voters.

The MSM tends to overlook that Bush came close to winning some of those midwestern states. The Dem candidate couldn't afford to lose any of those in 2008.

I think you may be right. I still say there's a chance that Hillary, who is so strictly scripted, will have a meltdown.
