I'm looking at the comments and videos in response to it.

For some real fun go to the Daily Telegraph's "Your View" page. Scroll down through some of the titles and look for "A World without America." The love and affection is so overwhelming./s The Telegraph does this at the very least once a week. Britain is like an addict who needs its fix of Anti-Americanism. They can't help themselves I guess.

Most times I really enjoy these sites, The Sun rivals the Guardian with its hate of the USA. Go to their "discussions page" really fascinating stuff.

The only time that they really make me angry is when they disparage our military who they absolutely abhor. Every person in Britain will tell you that their father or grandfather said, "When we British fired the Germans ducked. When the Germans fired we British ducked. When the Americans fired everyone ducked. Ha!Ha!Ha! Stupid, Yanks! The American military is unprofessional, lots of gear, no idea, stupid and pathetic knuckle dragger's, blah, blah, blah." It's a broken record stuck on one theme.

EU Referendum (a very cerebral blog that never misses an opportunity to insult those "vulgar Americans"), claims that our military calls the British the "borrowers" and the "Flintstones." The "borrowers" because the British arrived for war needing everything from food to ammunition. The "Flintstones" because their equipment is so out of date. The British should have stayed home if they weren't up to the job. That is no slur on the courage of the average British soldier. I have more respect for theirs than they have for ours, but a slap at their government who ask them to do a job without the equipment necessary to see it through, shame on Tony Blair.

I love my country and, frankly, I'm very, very tired of the rest of the world especially our "friends."

"I came to this country from the UK in 1969, when I was 20 years old, and got permanent resident status through the admittedly imprudent stratagem of enlisting in the U.S. Army."

Bless you, brother. I was in the US Navy at the time you joined the Army. FWIW, I made the better choice. Sorry, couldn't resist.

'The British stand behind weasel words like, "I like Americans, I just don't like their government, their foreign policy, the South, the West, the East or the North. I don't like Hollywood, their music, their culture, lack of culture, their laws, the color of their toilets, their clothes, their shoes, their cars, their schools, their health care, their lack of health care, on and on and so on. Other than that I like Americans." '

They must be using the same writers as the U.S. lefties who keep assuring us they support the troops just not the mission.

Paradoxically, we will find out we have a whole lot of apologetic friends when we have either the huevos - or sufficient crises of our own - to say "F' you - you're on your own."

The world is full of parasitical, spoiled-brat nations that take US-enforced stability completely for granted.

It's no secret that the Muslims hate the US.... not because of our politics, but because of the images of pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, prostituting slut hip-hop thugs that Hollywood projects.

That's the America they believe we are and the America they hate.

No, the Muslims hate us because we are the biggest obstacle to their dream of a world-wide Islamic Caliphate. Our culture has little to do with it.

Well, I don't happen to believe that ALL Muslims are out to kill us and dominate the world.

But I do believe that just about all Muslims, according to their faith, reject the images of the hip hop thugs, sluts, homosexuals and other moral degenerate imagery of Americans that Hollywood projects. (And sadly is the Hollywood lifestyle.)

How does the world feel about the U.N. and the Oil For Food Scandal?

No, just your average British citizen who has access to a computer. Most of the negative comments come from the "comments" pages of their newspapers, some of which are moderated and some that are not.
