I'm not saying I'd vote for him but I recall during the clinton years he is the only one I could stand listening to so I'd hear him out now. My sense is he is to the right of some of the GOP candidates these days. I'd could be wrong and if I am I'll determine that soon enough.

Since I'll never ever vote for a Democrat for anything ever....and I live in Massachusetts my vote does not count anyhow......

I think that McCain is in no danger of ever getting my vote.

Money is Speech....and McCain Feingold is an assault on my Rights of Free Speech. It was a disgraceful act by the Senate, and President Bush, and the Supreme Court to make that BS the Law of the Land.

Other than him, there are possibilities, but more than likely, I think that I'll be putting in another blank ballot next year.

We shall see what happens.

At least I take the time to actually get out there and vote though............

Who Won't You Vote for in 2008?

..any of the three "frontrunners"

also any demagogues or "protest" candidates who might pop up.

At the end of the day, I will support the candidate who hopefully embraces the full spectrum of conservative principles.

I know, we made a wholesome joke of your situation.

Welcome to FR and may that be the worst of your greetings.

"We will not survive another Clinton."

You are not giving the American people enough credit.

We got budget surpluses and welfare reform during the first Clinton administration while he was frolicking with interns.

Perhaps we can send some cute young female interns up to the Whitehouse as sacrificial lambs to keep Hillary otherwise occupied.

I, and more importantly, the vast majority of Americans will not be convinced by overblown rhetoric into voting for whomever or whatever runs opposite Hillary.

If the Republicans put a lamppost up against Hillary, then I will definitely vote for the lamppost. But I am not so certain I will vote for McCain.

Point #1. Anyone of those mentioned: FDR, LBJ, Carter, B. Clinton would do us in for good in present circumstances.

Point #2. We dodged a big bullet with FDR, if WWII hadn't come along ... LBJ was a liberal, but was actually more of an opportunist rather than a purebred idealogue. Carter was incompetent, as was Bill and in addition, Bill was a liberal by convenience, no real convictions here.

Hillary, on the other hand, is both competent and a dedicated leftist/Marxist/Socialist/Communist. Real trouble if she wins. Obama, we just don't know. He's a lefty, but how committed? Is he competent? Neither we nor he have a clue, he is so completely a blank slate.

Good for you. My sentiments exactly. The only Democrat I would consider voting for is Zell Miller and he's not running.
