No Sox game on radio tomorrow--earlier I said "Sox game today and tomorrow" but I had cut and pasted something from yesterday.
Dana Hersey is now reading the list of sponsors so tune to WRKO--it should be on within minutes. Once it's back on

up in a minute or so
He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! On WRKO, WCRN, WXTK-FM etc
We're standing in line, shooting the breeze with other winning bidders, and they've come from all over the country, buying all the mfg equipment, test equipment, etc.
"So what did you guys get?" "Oh we picked up sparcs, etc., ... and some end tables, a [wall] clock, and a Selectric."
They could not stop laughing.
what was/is moxie anyway? never heard of it!
A carbonated soft drink. I've seen it in grocery stores, but alas, I've never tried it.
i don't ever remember seeing it this far out west.
It's a New England thing, almost like brown eggs. Like RC Cola was in the South, albeit, a much smaller market.
>>and a Selectric."
I still remember our family having a big huge Royal typewriter. Then I was given a portable model (Brother)
and an electric by Sears, "The Scholar"
By the 90s it was a Canon word processor and then finally
my first computer (Packard Bell, 1998...)
It's still around, but I woke up one day and the corn syrup just tasted NASTY!
It's still around here.
I'm getting him on WNTK, too. Thanks for the link.
you're welcome. back on 'RKO now of course and the next spring training game isn't till Tue I think. They're playing the Yanks on Monday but I think THAT one is a 7 pm start
