What I'm wondering is, once this is vetoed, how is the war funded?? Will the the rats have "won" by default???No. Bush will veto and demand a clean supplemental. The RATS have three weeks to come to their political senses or the blood of American soldiers in Iraq will be on their hands. Political suicide for them. Even the MSM recognizes this. The President is holding all the cards on this.

Woolsey doing her best to condemn her party for passing this, because it means the troops won't come home NOW! "The most tragic thing of all--they are dying and they are KILLING..."
Whatta fruitcake.

Cleveland wasn't bad. Make a good conservative these days. In fact, just about every dem president is spinning in his grave over what has become of the dem party. The two still living are a shame to its history.

I believe budgets are filibuster proof but funding or spending bills are not.

I caution everyone, that not everyone on FreeRepublic is a conservative, or even a republican. Good call. "Ivan" is listening.

The good news is that while Pelosi is leading House dims off the cliff, it keeps Congress from passing any legislation that will further curtail our rights. Carry on, Nancy, you slagbag!

OK, its time for an all-out battle against the leftist democRATs plus Jones(R-NC)
Bush needs to hold a News Conference each day announcing from where funds are being transferred to support the 'Troops'.
National Guard, New Orleans funds, etc

Yeah, but it makes great fodder when I gleefully send this to non-freepers, some of them democrats, who have plagued me with their complaints about the prez and the pubby administration. This shows them that the RATS haven't lived up to their promises and have no intention of doing so.
I also pray that the RATS fall on their faces with this orangutan of a spending bill.

Bush will make a statement from the Whitehouse at approximately 1:45 today on this bill. Give em hell, George -- they have earned it. Where are the blue dogs? I thought they had integrity? (Or did Queen Pelosi buy them off with the pork?)

I'm not for cut and run, but in my opinion 2008 is plenty of time for these sandheads to decide whether they want a country or not. And by country, I mean one that isn't run by a 9th century murderous misogynist ideology of a-holes.

Pelosi, has locked the blue-dogs 'balls' in a steel trap for safe keeping.... all their names should be placed on the 'endanger' list for 2008.
