Nebraska is a populist stronghold. As is Montana and much of the west....As I see it. The Republican right wing is offensive to them. Even the Blue Dog dems in the south are more appealing these days.

I wish I could get more people here on this forum to understand why we are losing this battle and our coalition.

The way the people respond, Mr. Hagel, is via electing representatives that support their view. Is this the view of your constituents? And if it is, does your constituent's knowledge match that of those military leaders in the field or are we just a pure democracy where the Commander-In-Chief has to alter military strategy based purely on the fluctuating current of citizen approval?
