What is Fred Thompson waiting for? He has not set up one of those exploratory committees. He has had no fund raisers or even started to develop a web site. Florida is talking about moving it's primary to January and a lot of states will have theirs in February. He better get moving if he is going to do this rather than thinking everyone will know him because he is on Law and Order.

If/when he does declare, I think he'll skip the "exploratory committee" and just go for it.
I think what he's doing now, testing the waters, is his version of an exploratory committee.
He better get moving if he is going to do this rather than thinking everyone will know him because he is on Law and Order.
I think it's shrewd of him to wait. He gets to keep his Law & Order and Paul Harvey gigs. If he announces, there goes his free exposure on TV and radio. I thought I heard he would decide by June--just after May sweeps for Law and Order.
