Good tagline. I'd like to borrow it. And if you won't let me you are a RINO!!!!

..I have always liked Steve Forbes. The flat tax is a great idea IMHO. But I believe he has been infected with the same virus as many in the GOP--pragmatism over principle--believing principle cannot win...

In the very real urban/rural schism (blue counties/ red counties,) that exists in this nation in regard to issues such as property rights, environmental regulation and wealthy elitism, Guiliani represents blue state mentality and the rich. Forbes endorsement only serves to emphasize this and make him even less attractive. My impression is that a vote for Guiliani would be pro-East Coast and anti the West.

Forbes is all about what's good for business. Also Rudy has a geographical advantage with Steve. They might even be 'friends'.

I suspect W's Harvard MBA background that helps him fall for the amnesty scheme.

I'm going to change my tagline today: Rudy 2008, because conservatives can't win.

Rejecting him as a primary candidate because he has supported gay marriage, federal funding for abortion and PBA, gun registration, and the Senate's guest worker program is not "naive perfectionism", its COMMON SENSE!!!

Conservative principles are not "purist idealism".

Damn I'm sick of you people.

Kudos for being up-front over your Rudy-Bot status.

The Rudy "movement" is a cult of personality not unlike Chairman Mao's following.

Subscribe to Forbes and see if I'm wrong.
Of course, I like Steve Forbes but as he himself has put it, any 50-50 deal with the Forbes folks means we get the hyphen.

Good men don't march in parades with child molesters and use public funds on their mistresses.

I'm looking for a fiscal conservative who truly supports the idea of limited government.

Why did he want to reinstate the NYC commuter tax then?

Hillary paid $400,000 for Vilsak's endorsement.

I'm guessing Rudy made Forbes a payoff offer of some sort.

Supporting Forbes's flat tax plan after being against it?

A job in the Giuliani Admin.? Both?

Fred is more conservative and has less baggage and therefore is more electable

Maybe more electable in the republican primary. But in a general election, being labeled as "conservative" is baggage, unfortunately, due to the media times we live in.

The pathetic ones are the ones who are for Rudy no matter what his beliefs are. I can not understand why people on this site support a liberal.

"cult of personality"

When I saw "Why? Because he's funny...." I said to myself "Ah, the cult of personality".

Here we have a man who has apparently never read the constitution and some are falling all over him.

But he's funny.
