Marrying a cousin is less offensive to me than marrying someone young enough to be your daughter. It was common practice in the infant years of our country for people to marry cousins.
This is just the beginning of the dirty tricks from the left.
Why does it bother you that he married someone younger than he is? People do that all of the time. I had an ancestor who married a young lady who was about 30 years younger than he and he lived longer than she did. At least he is not a liberal like Rudy.
Mr. Giuliani is leading the polls among Republicans in Alabama. Hailey Barbour has publicly stated he welcomed Mr. Giuliani campaigning for him in his race for governor.
Good observation. My sources here in NYS say RG is leaning towards Hailey as potential VP.
"Nope, she did not cross my mind. I am thinking about a couple I have seen on TV."
Like um young those TV people do, don't they?
Even Barbour can't save Rooty.
He would have been on top of my list, and that of many others.
I have been watching him for ten years, and never thought I would get a chance to vote for him.
I mentioned Fred wistfully sometime in November of last year. I just thought he was out of politics for good.
That was obviously a quid pro quo. Giuliani was vehemently against the flat tax and "Voila!!" in the same day Forbes endorses him, and Giuliani comes out in favor of the flat tax.
Straight shooter, my eye.
I've got to get a crystal ball like yours.
What's more troubling than marrying a cousin, is that he knew her his entire life, and was married to her for 14 years, and was never smart enough or inquisitive enough to know she was his cousin. Can we afford to have someone like this monitoring the security of our nation at a time like this?
Marrying a younger women is immoral, but committing serial adultery isn't?
Rudy is very smart. He knew he married his 2nd cousin. Turned out to be his first cousin. I don't have a problem with divorces. We've had some very prolific womanizers as U S President's down through history. As long as they toe the line in the White House and keep our country safe, guard the Constitution and nominate conservative judges, I don't care about their past that much. No one is perfect and everyone has done things they wish they hadn't done, IMO.
I read post #61 and it said "offensive" not "immoral". All this goes to prove is that honest and well-intended people make mistakes in their personal lives, and the indignation expressed by those who see themselves as somehow morally or ethically superior is laughable.
Who said it was "immoral?" Not me. And I seriously doubt if any of the candidates has a lily white background. Even Mitt Romney.

I guess I had in mind Geraldo Rivera who is older than his new father-in-law. He married a GIRL almost 40 years younger than himself. That just seems offensive to me, but whatever makes your boat float.
Are you calling Rudy a liar? When he divorced his cousin he said he had no idea that she was his cousin.
Steve Forbes has got to be the ugliest guy to ever run for president, who cares about Steve Forbes endorsement, is it worth 3 votes?
