the correct approach for adults is:

fight like hell to get the right candidate on the ballot to represent the gop

then vote for the nominated party in overwhelming numbers in the general election

if its giuliani, then its giuliani

anyone who advocates a different approach is just another political enemy - most likely a liberal lurker pathetically attempting to foment dissent

All you and the people who keep posting this picture are showing that you have NO SENSE OF HUMOR.

Anyone who seriously thinks that Rudy is effeminate is totally out of their mind.

I will check back in six months and see where Rudy is in the polls. Might mean something at that point.

i don't think he is at all effeminate. but i have yet to see a rudyfan admit that the existence of such pictures is a definite negative. come on, be truthful. dukakis in a tank, and Kerry in a bunnysuit, were used here, ad infinitum, do you not concede that a presidential candidate dressed in drag in photo form is something that you wish we did NOT have? i am not saying he will LOSE because of these photos, but at least have the honesty to concede that they are REGRETTABLE. and don't give me any crap about how it will endear him to voters, because i have seen that espoused. he isn't going to GET votes because he is just a regular joe dressed in drag at a charity event. it hurts more than it helps. i just wish someone from the rudyfan camp could admit to that.

Rudy would return the republican party to it's REAL DESTINY, that of . . .

Sitting around the country club talking about what a bunch of fools those pesky social conservatives are - and wondering why they keep electing Democrats.

Please note that I never claimed that the Church of Christ is the same as the "Univeral Church of Christ".

Besides, the link people objected to was in a post, NOT the article itself, so the post could have been pulled, while the article and the thread left.

So I reposted the article without my comment and link, removing the offending issue.

On the 4 top issues (Guns, abortion, immigration, ED) to me Hitlary and Rino Rudy are in lock step. I can not ever vote for him.

So you think that the President should meddle in what should be STATE RIGHT issues and ignore the responsibilities of Commander in Chief...GREAT decision.

I believe in state rights...I think each state has elected their people and that each state should move their values in the direction of the people in the state...why the hell should we elect a president and have him manage 50 states different issues. If you don't like gun control don't move to DC or NY if you don't like gay marriage don't move to CT or MA...if you dig executing criminals move to states that do...or better yet don't commit heinous crimes in states that execute...

I say let each state deal with the 4 issues you point out...I will instead vote for the best person to lead the effort against rag head terrorists...

I hope you take that into consideration on election day with your no vote.

By attempting to imply that Thompson's church is connected to the Mormon church, you are casting a slur on both Thompson and the Mormon church by the implication that if it is true (it isn't, that's why the mod pulled it) then Thompson should not be a member there because of that. Saying in effect that there's something wrong with the Mormon church and anybody who is connected with it in any way.

This was pointed out to you last night, even by many of your fellow Rudy admirers. If I ever saw some form of apology from you about posting that to begin with I might regain some respect for you, not that you need or even want my respect.

I don't agree with posters who point out frivilous reasons for not voting for Rudy either, the reason I do not support Rudy is that he is a liberal and there are plenty of public statements from him backing that up.

Likewise, Mitt Romney's religion isn't the reason I don't support him either.

I don't agree with everything about Fred Thompson either but right now he is the potential candidate who comes closest to what I want in a President.

If I wanted a candidate who thinks and believes exactly like I do, I'd have to throw my own hat in the ring and we both can agree that would be disastrous (for me)

Your post #1 on the pulled thread claimed that the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) - a sect of the Church of Jesus Christ - is the same thing as the "Church of Christ" which it is not.

Universally speaking, "Church of Christ" congregations are Trinitarian, Protestant and non-denominational.

Additionally, the branch of the "Church of Christ" claimed by Fred Thompson "Church of Christ (Stone Campbell)" and John Cornyn (R), TX is both evangelical and Southern in its roots.

The leaders - Thomas Campbell, Alexander Campbell (his son) and Barton W. Stone were seeking a return to original Christianity which by definition would exclude Mormonism.

Thus the claim was false and the thread was pulled because it was beyond repair.

Your post #1 on the pulled thread claimed that the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) - a sect of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Later Day Saints (Mormonism) - is the same thing as the "Church of Christ" which it is not.

Romney is Mormon and proud of it.

YOU are the one implying that there is something wrong with being Mormon, not I.

I personally don't care what religion Fred Thompson or Romney is.

Yes. Abortion is legal on the federal level, my gun rights are in the constitution, ED is in the constitution, and immigration is a federal responsiblity. All of these are not states issues but are federal. I will not vote for a liberal like Rino Rudy who is on the wrong side of these 4 issues.
