Its a little like Santa Claus. Kids who dont believe arent happy until they ruin it for the ones that do.
Faith is for the believers.
Those who dont wish to believe can go to hell. Which they dont believe in either-—obviously.

“If Dr. Hawass really said that, he is a numskull. An absence of evidence is just thatan absence of evidence. It does not prove that an event did not occur. “
Unlike your statement, the Clinton legal team and the brilliant leftist legal minds at Harvard said without evidence there can be no case, therefore the event never happened.
Then the blue dress was produced and the nation wondered what really was the meaning of “is.”

It took me a minute to get that. :)
Dr. Brown's soda is typically sold in 12-ounce cans and in one-liter and plastic bottles as well as two-liters in Black Cherry, Cream, and Root Beer flavors. (Less common are Dr. Brown's 12-ounce glass bottles.) It is particularly popular among Jewish consumers and is certified Kosher (as are most other brands of soda sold in the U.S.).

Plato mentions Atlantis one time and 1600 years later serious scientist are still searching for it, not doubting for a moment that it once existed. The parting of the Red Sea on the other hand was an event that must have had tens if not hundreds of thousands of witnesses and the event was documented by those who saw it for themselves. So why if it did not happen did the multitude of people not object to it being recorded in the Hebrew Holy book?
I would say the same for Jesus. Over 500 people were said to have witnesses Jesus after his resurrection with many going to their death because of their testimony and people outside the Christian faith still doubt his existence or his divinity.
As Christians and Jews we need to expect these attacks on our faith to continue and it will intensify as we approach the return of Jesus just as the Bible says it will.

Let's see. For years we've been treated to explanations (other than an act of God) for how it happened. Now we're just going to go all out and say it never happened... Got it.

Actually there is a known land bridge not far below the surface of the red sea, its been dredged in places now for modern shipping, but its still there... the water level would not need to drop too significantly to expose it.

Hmmmm....saw the Discovery Channel show on the Exodus a few nights ago, thought it was pretty impressive. Found this in a search:
Since reeds only grow in fresh water, scholars have looked for centuries for a fresh water lake the Israelites could have crossed and of course none exists.
Could a more accurate word for the Hebrew phrase "Yam Suph" be "seaweed" instead of reeds? Could this be referring to the part of the present Red Sea known as the Gulf of Aqaba --where these chariot wheels were found?

Something to think about anyway. There's been alot of controversy surrounding the research of Ron Wyatt, but I do believe that we will find such things in the end times.

It was a miracle: The sea was “open” for only the amount of time need to cross the “Red Sea” (or “Sea of Reeds” as some would re-write it ...)
What kind of “archaeological evidence” could there be 4000 years after the water moved? Could we measure ONE “tide” that moved in and out for a few hours 4000 years ago? The level didn’t go “up” - the water simply moved out of the way.

One would imagine the NY Times quoted source for this assault on Jewish history is also of the Arafat school of Temple denialthat David and Solomon were not Jewish and if so, were merely chieftans of a small tribe and that there was never any temple on the MountThat's a reasonable assumption, after all many Arab archaeologists recognize no evidence that Jews were anywhere near towns like Jerusalem or Hevron.

I think modern translations don't have the Red Sea but the Sea of Reeds. The Hebrew means reeds. Like the commandment against murder morphing into kill.
