All he does is present a caricature of what the rabid left thinks conservatives are. Excellent. I think you're on to something... like Archie Bunker was Hollywood's depiction of a "regular Joe." Gotcha.

Or we could go all texty on him, and pronounce him Teh Vile.

While the critique of Savage is deserved, your statement that Savage fans and Hunter supporters are identical is extremely simplistic “thinking.”
Duncan Hunter is a gentlemanly conservative, a bona fide Vietnam veteran, a long-time Congressional representative of his constituency, a fighter for fairness in immigration and border security, and a staunch supporter of the WOT.
Duncan Hunter is as humble as Savage is arrogant. They are opposites.

The only analogy I was trying to make it this... Hunter has NO shot at Pres or VP, yet many FReepers stick to him as an alternative to the others. Savage is the same way, a voice for the most extreme conservative (and in his case, looney) views. That’s it.

When I am not listening to Larry Elder's attack on the border agents or Hugh Hewitt's plugging of his books, I'll occasionally listen to Savage and herar . . .
"I don't know why I do this!!!" . . .
"Is anyone listening OUT THERE!!!!!" . . .
"I should quit and go sailing.
Did you all HEAR THAT!!!!!

The important thing about Hunter’s and possibly Newt’s vying for the nomination will be the issues and POV they bring to the debates. I hear that the first debate is coming up in May, don’t know who are the players are yet....
However, I don’t think Giuliani will end up the Republican nominee either...

If not Thompson, I could live with Romney. McCain and Rudy are acceptable over any Dems, but that’s about it.

"At least he is not a Water Boy for the Republican Party." There you have it, another fratricidal Conservative more focused on destroying us within, at the benefit of the democRAT party, and the Jihadist abroad.
This is why I call the Wiener thread a "Troll" thread because most of what they do is attack Limbaugh, GOP, and Dubya.

No, Patrick Henry was a Freemason. Freemasons take an oath not to permit a libertines, madmen, or fools join their ranks, so Weiner could never be a Freemason.

Whenever I hear him, I think of the Shining and Jack's "No work no play makes Jack a dull boy."
Maybe Savage is manic depressive or has a split personnality. Or, maybe he is just a lefty who is milking the conservative market. Whatever he is, I usually change the station shortly after he comes on. I can't even stand that crappy acid rock intro he uses. "Now, listen up!"
Good news is that Mark Levin is now in his same time slot. Unfortunately, the power on 640am cuts back after sundown, so I can't hear his whole show.

Pointing out when a conservative is acting like a liberal is not 'destroying from within.' Making excuses blindly when a conservative is engaged in liberal actions is more destructive then pointing out the destructiveness of the behavior.

"Pointing out when a conservative is acting like a liberal is not 'destroying from within.' " Try distinguishing politics from ideology. While they are tied together, they are also exclusive.
When you are preceived to only attack the party that harbors Conservatives, you are helping the other side. I gave up on expecting ideological purity long ago, but continue to strive for it.
When you lay down with dogs, you get fleas, and you guys are laying down with the Wiener dog.
