The trooper should receive an official reprimand for not ensuring that everyone in his vehicle was following state-mandated safety procedures, that of wearing a seat belt. He would have received a more severe reprimand from Governor Self-Important had he dared to point out the law applies to him, too. ;)

How do you break your leg walking on the beach? You don't. McGreevey didn't break his leg on the beach.

We all know that McGreevey broke his leg while strolling along the beach at Cape May with his WIFE. The New York Times told us so. The New York Times would NEVER lie about something like that.I remember that story. They printed what McGreevey told them. I don't believe that there's a single correct fact in McGreevey's recounting of events.

BTW, will this ARROGANT and DEFIENT, CORRUPT LIBERAL be fined for NOT wearing his seat belt as the LITTLE PEOPLE would be fined? Or are we to just feel bad that he wasn’t wearing his seat belt and look the other way, as “usual” when an arrogant LIBERAL breaks the law?

Second, who gets the fine if you are in a car without a seat belt?Depends on what state you're in and other things like how old you are, if you're a passenger w/ a valid driver's license...
My 16 YO, a passenger in the backseat of a car his brother was driving, got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. Only thing was that he was wearing a belt; his brother, the driver, was not. Older brother hurriedly reached around & grabbed his seat belt & fastened it. PO mistook the driver for the passenger. We made the Big Kid pay the Little Kid's ticket.

Jon Corzine is a liberal. That's who liberals are - when they make rules, its others who have to follow them. Liberals are ALWAYS exempt from their own rules. Think Algore and his environmentally extravagant mansion. No matter the situation, liberals are just better than any one else. The rules are not for them because in their own minds they're brilliant, morally self-righteous and everyone else is an idiot and a moral imbecile.

Didnt suffer any brain damage
If he did, there would be no way of telling. He was nuts before the crash; his behavior before becoming Gov. as well as his not wearing his seatbelt.
Did they give the Gov a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt? Shouldnt the trooper/driver enforce the law and make him wear a seatbelt? Lets face it the Gov is not the brightest light on the string.

McGreevey didn't break his leg on the beach.
McGreevey was taking a leisurely stroll with his WIFE down a New Jersey beach in FEBRUARY! Why is that so difficult to believe? I mean, don't we all visit Cape May in FEBRUARY to walk down the beach?
One
story was that McGreevey was as drunk as a skunk and jogged ahead of his WIFE.

I actually had never heard of him being drunk, the driver yes but not Rees-Jones.
In checking on that I found this about the seatbelt.
Because he suffered a head injury in the crash, Rees-Jones does not recall particulars of the accident. He survived because he put on - it was said - the seatbelt.[1] However, a December 2006 Operation Paget technical examination said that none of the occupants of the car were wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
Also...in his own words,
REES-JONES: I think I’ve been told that I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. I assume that’s been misreported, that the airbag must have saved me on the initial impact, but then my face and chest hit the dashboard when the car was pushed around.
VAN SUSTEREN: Why weren’t you wearing a seat belt, and why wasn’t anybody else, do you think?
REES-JONES: I can’t answer for the others; I can answer for myself. I wouldn’t have been wearing one, because it’s not what we practice to do, so I needed freedom of movement within the vehicle, and obviously, I was pleased for myself when it was reported I wasn’t wearing one.

Waiting for all those who claim they do not want to pay increased health costs because of motorcycle riders who won’t wear a helmet. Same thing I think.

Yeah, no, that’s not what I heard, although I believe drugs and/or alcohol may have been involved. I heard something worse.
