I think it is great these debates are occurring. So much speech is being spiked, especially in Public schools/Universities due to Cultural Marxism attempt not to be challenged.

Just think if you were a member of a group with that name before it got usurped...

Gordon is very definitely a Christian school. But that doesn’t make them perfect, as this shows.

We are all sinners and we are all sick.
Homosexuality is a wicked illness. As Christians, we should tell them homsexuality is wrong but we should also show patience and we should pray for them.
As Christians, we are all missionaries, whether we are in New Guinea or New York.

Notre Dame is supposed to be a Catholic University, but for some decades now it appears to have as much in common with Catholicism as a pig has with Christmas.

Nobody has suggested otherwise. You should reach out to all sinners. I just don't see this as an opportunity to reach out. These folks are looking for a fight.

There’s nothing wrong with dialogue. OTOH, dialogue is pointless when the other side wants only to score propaganda points. It’s a tough call.

As I recall one student asked What if i made the argument that God created me to find sexual fulfillment with multiple partners? He dodged the question completely. Excellent. Teach a man to think logically, and you're good to go.

My daughter is trying to decide between Grove City and Gordon for next year. This may help clarify the choice.

I’ve known several people who went to Grove City College and I only hear good things about it. Years ago when I was in college, I also met a number of students who went to or graduated from Gordon and they were committed believers.

The folks supporting this debate...I wonder if they are Adelphi technique trained change agents!

What is the agenda for the meeting? What is it they are trying to do?

Those crazy Christians,,, welcoming sinners to their school..
Next thing you know they’ll be handing out bibles and maybe even ask them to pray !
How terrible!

I wonder, if satan wanted to discuss his point of view, would he be welcome?

Gee,, you shoot right for the jugular, no messin around! You by-passed so many good examples and went right to the top.
Here’s the answer..
“What do you think?”
:-)
To: A. Pole
This isn’t intended to be a “dialog” on the part of Soul Farce - they just want and expect a soapbox to spew their propaganda uninterrupted. Just consider that at least one school (I think it was Patrick Henry) offered to host a debate between the group and a student panel, which they immediately rejected.
