Having lost a brother-in-law last year to brain cancer, I understand all too well the pain the family is going through. Let me raise up my prayers as well: May kayak be lifted into the Lord’s arms for comfort and rest, and may her family be given the strength to let her go home in love.
I am so sorry to read this. I first met kayak on the ATRW thread. She was so warm and welcoming to me. Prayers for the whole family.
God bless.
Prayers for Kayak and for her entire family.

My sincere sympathy for you and your wife at this difficult time. I’ve been there.

Kayak posted the prayer thread when my friends and loved ones were serving in Iraq. Kay is the best. Love to Kay, and to all her family.

Father,
I with tears too say “see you later” to my sweet friend, Kay. May she have perfect peace when she awakens in Your presence and may her dear family know Your love and comfort at this time. She’s been a faithful warrior for you. And I thank you for having known her.
Wow. I’m gonna miss kayak, we used to kid around a lot.
It's really real....it really is. She WILL wake, immediately, in the twinkling of an eye, in His presence...
Thank you, Blogger, for saying that.
Prayers for Kayak and her family and friends.
May God bless the whole family.
Prayers respectfully offered.

And so it is for us in this place ... we are weeping while Kay joyously anticipates stepping into the Presence of her Lord and Savior.
Lead Me Gently Home, Father
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home,
When lifes toils are ended
And parting days have come;
Sin no more shall tempt me,
Neer from Thee Ill roam,
If Thoult only lead me, Father,
Lead me gently home.
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet, dear Kay ...

'I will Praise Thee, O Lord, with my Whole Heart;
I will Shew Forth All Thy Marvellous Works.
I will be Glad and Rejoice in Thee:
I will Sing Praise to Thy Name, O Thou Most High.' (Ps.9:1,2)
Godspeed, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
Aye.
Prayers up!
My prayer go out to you. My Dad passed almost a year ago. I told him the very same thing. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to say that to someone I loved, but somehow I knew that giving him that decision was the right thing to do. She may pass when you aren’t in the room. They sometimes decide to do that in order to lessen the trauma on you, so know that it is possible.
God bless your mom, and all of you as you go thru this trying time. Remember, “though the singer is silent, there still is the truth of the song.” -John Denver The consolation is all the time that you were blessed with her being in your life.
I’m so sorry to read this. Prayers for all of you...your love and faith will not fail you.
Poppyseed, what a beautiful update. No words can really comfort you and your family so just know we’re all out here, feeling the pain along with you.
I pray for her homecoming.
She will be sorely missed.
Amen.
