Killer's Note: 'You Caused Me to Do This'
ABC News ^ | 4/17/07

Posted on 04/17/2007 9:51:27 AM PDT by areafiftyone

April 17, 2007 — Cho Seung-Hui, the 23-year-old student who killed 32 people and then himself yesterday, left a long and "disturbing" note in his dorm room at Virginia Tech, say law enforcement sources.

Sources have now described the note, which runs several pages, as beginning in the present tense and then shifting to the past tense. It contains rhetoric explaining Cho's actions and says, "You caused me to do this," the sources told ABC News.

Sources say Cho killed two people in a dorm room, returned to his own dorm room where he re-armed and left the note, then went to a classroom building on the other side of campus. There, he killed 30 more people in four classrooms before shooting himself in the head.

Cho, born in South Korea, was a legal resident alien of the United States. He was a senior at Virginia Tech, majoring in English.

Sources tell ABC News Cho bought his first gun, a Glock 9 millimeter handgun, on March 13; they say he bought his second weapon, a .22 caliber pistol, within the last week. The serial numbers on both guns had been filed off, they said.

Authorities found the receipt for the 9 millimeter handgun in his backpack. They say it also contained two knives and additional ammunition for the two guns.

Legal permanent resident aliens may purchase firearms in the state of Virginia. A resident alien must, however, provide additional identification to prove he or she is a resident of the state.

Sections of chain similar to those used to lock the main doors at Norris Hall, the site of the second shooting that left 31 dead, were also found inside a Virginia Tech dormitory, sources confirmed to ABC News.

Yes, apparently the media is getting carried away with its own agenda. And the blame game that is getting out of hand.

I recall Florida case you mentioned. What a cover-up by the MSM. I thought the parents would end up with a huge bill for the damages, at the least an investigation for terrorist connection. Instead, the last I heard, the mother sued the manufacturer of his acne medication for wrongful death. Such a disgusting person.

Mrs. DEN Southworth has some explaining to do!!!

As to what brought me back to the neighborhood, Hannah, it was to do some business for the judge, and to buy some stock for the farm. But there, my dear! that boy has slipped out, and is cutting the wood; I’ll go and do it for him,” said Reuben, as the sound of Ishmael’s ax fell upon his ears.

Hannah arose and followed Gray to the door, and there before it stood Ishmael, chopping away at random, upon the pile of wood, his cheeks flushed with fever and his eyes wild with excitement.

“Hannah, he is ill; he is very ill; he doesn’t well know what he is about,” said Reuben, taking the ax from the boy’s hand.

“Ishmael, Ishmael, my lad, come in; you are not well enough to work,” said Hannah anxiously.

It seems that most people don’t want to believe that someone that they know is dangerous. I had a stalker that was bothering me for a couple of years and no one would believe that he was doing the things that he did because they seemed so crazy. Neighbors used to say that if I would just stop complaining about him, he would be fine. I used to sleep with this huge knife that my husband brought home from Vietnam, stuck between the mattress and box spring, with the knife pulled out from the sheath, just slightly, so that I could pull it out quickly. He finally got arrested, breaking into the house of the woman who told me to just leave him alone. When the guy got out of jail, the first thing he did was start to make telephone calls to me. He used the same reasoning, that we were “rich” and our kids had everything.

I’m thoroughly unconvinced this has anything to do with muslim terrorism.

Loony Toony City doesn’t even come close to describing this place. When something like this happens, you can bet your last dollar there will be people DESPERATE to link it to Islam. DESPERATE to make the rest of us believe it’s terrorism and everyone in the government is covering it up.

It's on FR. The ex was being interrogated by LE when the 2nd shooting occurred. They've positively IDed the bullets in both shootings as coming from Cho's gun. The 2nd shooting included the killing of prof Librescu, who protected the students in his Solid Mechanics class in room 204, around the end of class, by charging and blocking the door. Looks like he was shot through the door maybe. The shooter killed 28 in rapid sucession. A cell phone recording contained the sound of the police blowing the doors, that hte perp had chaained open. The cops found him dead with a self inflicted head shot.

The gun shop owner posted a note on another blog that gave the shooters name and immagration status, before it was ever released, about an hour after the 2nd shooting.

I skimmed the article. Did it say the killer was taking SSRIs?

It is estimated that there are up to 40,000 Muslim adherents in Korea, excluding resident migrant workers. In South Korea, the Muslim population has been steadily increasing since the introduction of the faith shortly after the Korean War. The Muslim community is centered around Seoul, where the first large 20th-century mosque was built in 1976 using the funds of the Malaysian Islamic Mission and other Islamic countries.

Look,
I was raised in a house were COMMUNISM was the threat. Everyday-— the communists were behind something.

Desegregation, women’s rights, fluoridation of water, pantyhose, microwave ovens.... You name it, THEY did it.

Finally it was like “Geez, they sure do a lot of stuff and all you do is whine!”

A day like today is like goin' home ;) ~~sniffle~~

My wild guess is that “Ismail Ax” is some moniker he used in an online game. Or some bizarre protagonist of his creative writing.
