Elizabeth Hasselbeck of "The View" is co-hosting "Fox & Friends" This week. And today, when she goes to assume her co-hosting duties on "The View," Elizabeth Hasselbeck is going to have a few choice words for Rosie O'Donnell.
But we'll get to that later. If you recall, cutie Kiran Chetry was canned when the William Morris Agency tried to play hardball with the Fox News Channel. Chetry was axed in favor of Gretchen Carlson.
Fox has been trying to push Carlson (albeit unsuccessfully) ever since Kiran left. They've even tried moving a few other Fox babes into the role as they watched their ratings drop-off.
Don't feel too sorry for Chetry as second-place CNN gobbled up the former Fox beauty, and she's now going head-to-head vs. FOX as the new co-host of CNN's American Morning.
Fox has been making blunder after blunder regarding their once extremely popular morning show. First it was moving E.D. Hill to make room for Carlson and then it was Kiran Chetry.
However, FOX looks to have read the writing on the wall as Gretchen has mysteriously vanished. Allison Camerotta returned to the show last week after being out on maternity leave and after several obvious failed attempts to find a suitable replacement, FOX may have found their girl in Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
Now I don't claim to know anything about Elizabeth's contract but it would seem that she may be planning to jump ship. It's no secret that she's been unhappy in her role on "The View" and at times has been the other three liberal ladies' conservative punching bag......."

None. I listen to "Quinn and Rose" conservative talk radio. Both Quinn and Rose carry {Quinn has two and one is in an open holster}. I've seen him in a grocery store with his piece in the open and while mine is concealed, I know that there won't be any unanswered violence in that store. The show is also on XM radio and it drives the libs crazy. Most freepers would like it.
Amen!! Liberal spinning from Fox is NOT what I want to see....I can see that on EVERY channel.
Hear hear! I agree- no one else has had the wit, humor, and chemistry that E.D. brought to the show with Steve and Brian.

That would be great to get Liz. I wonder who the view would replace her with? Probably a real conservative voice, like Jane Fonda or maybe the President of NOW or Planned Parenthood.

I agree with you on Elizabeth. She does NOT stand up for us on the VIEW. Rosie is taking that show over. I like Hasselbeck but she is too meek to stand up to ROSIE! I just give up on watching but Send emails daily to Barbara Walters on my dismay at why she continues to let Rosie blab hate and controversy on that show. I have sent emails to the advertisers as well............. and will not purchase their products/
Fox & Friend's decline has nothing to do with Carlson IMHO. She is obviously a beautiful woman and is certainly intelligent and very well credentialed. She doesn't have the same camaraderie with Brian & Steve as E.D. Hill. But who would?

They need Ann Coulter on there.
She’s in a no win situation and I think it would be a brilliant career move, going to Fox.
I know this is off topic but it is about a female anchoring on Fox - O’Reilly had to forego his program for a nite or two and Michelle Malkin sat in for him - she was strong and well spoken and tore the face off one detractor set up to giver her a bad time.
The woman is a powerhouse.
One morning Fox and Friends had Kathy Lee on (of Regis Philbin fame) and she fit like a glove - experienced - ad libbed without a problem and never interrupted or shouted over the two men.
Didn’t know that leftist old prune B#T*& ran The View.
As a matter of fact I heard the view only once - in a doctor’s waiting room and made them turn it off.
Can’t stand the sight or sound of O’Donnell. But I hope they keep her on. She is an excellent picture of what many liberals are - fat, dumb, rude and ignorant.

Maybe Fox could reach a deal with ABC to switch Hasselbeck for Carlson?
I quit watching F&F since she was “promoted” into E.D.’s slot. I found her rude and cold. Brian and Steve can go over the top at times and E.D. handled it with grace and warmth. Carlson is like a freezer door left open.
I watched Hasselbeck. She’d make a good fit if Fox won’t relent and put E.D. back.
I don't see Fox relenting. Somebody very high up made the call. It is a shame.
