Elizabeth Hasselbeck of "The View" is co-hosting "Fox & Friends" This week. And today, when she goes to assume her co-hosting duties on "The View," Elizabeth Hasselbeck is going to have a few choice words for Rosie O'Donnell.
But we'll get to that later. If you recall, cutie Kiran Chetry was canned when the William Morris Agency tried to play hardball with the Fox News Channel. Chetry was axed in favor of Gretchen Carlson.
Fox has been trying to push Carlson (albeit unsuccessfully) ever since Kiran left. They've even tried moving a few other Fox babes into the role as they watched their ratings drop-off.
Don't feel too sorry for Chetry as second-place CNN gobbled up the former Fox beauty, and she's now going head-to-head vs. FOX as the new co-host of CNN's American Morning.
Fox has been making blunder after blunder regarding their once extremely popular morning show. First it was moving E.D. Hill to make room for Carlson and then it was Kiran Chetry.
However, FOX looks to have read the writing on the wall as Gretchen has mysteriously vanished. Allison Camerotta returned to the show last week after being out on maternity leave and after several obvious failed attempts to find a suitable replacement, FOX may have found their girl in Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
Now I don't claim to know anything about Elizabeth's contract but it would seem that she may be planning to jump ship. It's no secret that she's been unhappy in her role on "The View" and at times has been the other three liberal ladies' conservative punching bag......."

More stupid than the network morning shows? Personally, if I have the TV on at that time of the day, I’ll watch F&F anyday of the week regardless of who they have hosting before I’d watch the network trash. The only network program I watch is an occasional episode of NCIS which is frequently silly in itself, otherwise it’s Directv 360,269, &287.
I agree with you about Page Hopkins. I don’t know why they don’t give her the spot. She’s got a great sense of humor, is intelligent, seems to be conservative, and knows when to shut up! I think she’s great.
Why does an early morning show have to have three anchors and one news reader?
I can’t stand all the tripping on others’ talk and interrupting three people do when two non-competitive personalities (especially Steve and Brian) can get the same news out without anxious shrieking from some of the hysterical females they have tried out.
Hasselback sounds like she has been experimenting in a Cousteau underwater lab - that nitrous oxide sound so favored by all the broadcasting females these days.
Sorry - I’m grumpy but high power at 4am PDT is not my idea of getting the news - calm, spaced well with great timing is my idea of good news. Drop the women and let them deliver the news segments from off set.
I’ve yet to see a relaxed woman news reader at Fox with the exception of Juliette Huddy who seems to have vanished.
Yes Greg Kelly is bad, but it not as bad as what they have done to Kelly Wright. They took a good news reporter and turned him into a parody who has to have his hair shampooed on the air and demonstrate in cooking segments.
It's more than Elizabeth just being out shouted. She is clueless about too many things that someone in her position should be aware of. She had absolutely no response to Rosie when she was going on about the 9/11. It was like she had never read one article about the 9/11 Truthers, so she had absolutely no facts to throw back at Rose. She was a deer caught in the headlights.
when i say i don’t watch, that means i watch NOTHING, i either freep or do something else on weekend mornings. i haven’t seen a network show of any sort in decades!

Huddy and the idiot guy that used to be on with her host a chat show on the Fox network now. Pablum for the housewives.
well that’s true too. i think i understood that Kelly knows Courtney’s husband, so he isn’t ga-ga over her the way Greg is. but yes, i always liked Kelly Wright and his gravitas has suffered greatly from being on the weekend morning show.
I agree... E.D. Hill would send Rosie home crying more times than not.

Fox ‘n’ Friends claim to be the best morning show on TV. I can’t handle it any more. It’s so bad that I’ve taken to watching CNN. Geraldo Rivera prompts me to hit the mute button each time he opens his cliche-breathing pie hole.
