He tried to portray himself as a Christ-like figure.
At one point he said that he, like Christ, would be an inspiration to generations of the defenseless and downtrodden (or words to that effect).
But note that this is the leftist or marxist interpretation of Christ - that Christ came to support the downtrodden, a sort of social gospel (as opposed to what Christians know, that Christ’s sacrifice was to provide atonement for our sins and make us acceptable in the sight of God).
He also said something along the lines “you will never know the humiliation of being impaled on a cross and suffering, ...”
What we are hearing are the words of the spirit of evil, of the father of lies.

According to the press conference I just heard, they praised NBC for acting so quickly — and the *emphasized* this word — NBC *immediately* contacted authorities. That’s exactly what was said — and emphasized — at the news conference.

Thanks for posting that official version. It doesn’t matter how many people felt fear and terror, you would have to have been asleep for the last 40 years not to know that a political message is necessary. That’s like saying every evil person is a ‘sociopath.’ Only a fool would not give real terrorists the proper attention they require by throwing every nutcase mass murderer into that box.

Well, that can be proven to be wrong by two things. One your “eyes” and the second thing is your knowledge of postal service delivery.
The first thing — your *eyes* tell you that it was received and hand-written by the postal employee on Monday at 9:10 AM. You can *see* that with your own eyes, looking at the web site where they provide you of a copy to look at.
Second thing — anyone who has ever used the postal service express mail *knows* that they *do not* deliver on the same day that they receive the package. They will deliver it the next day. But, in this case there is the wrong zip code and the wrong address (and you can see it scratched through). That delays the package by one more day. Hence — it arrives on Wednesday.
Thus, we see by our “eyes” and by “common knowledge” and by “common sense” — that exactly what we have been given in this report is accurate and true.

You do not think his refering to the Columbine killers as MARTYRS is pointing towards islam? Ismail is another sign. Also, notice he had shaved his head which is also another ‘ritual’ muslims do before they undertake these missions. The police will know because they also shave their body hair, i.e. Mohammed Atta and the 9/11 hijackers. He appeared to be reading the words off of a prompt of some kind, and in a few places stumbled over them, almost like he was not totally familiar with them. Maybe someone else wrote some of those words. The style of the video was typical of what a Palestinian suicide bomber would make before blowing himself up. All in all, the jury is still very much out on an Islamci connection, but I thibnk there are certainly hints in that direction.

Well sorry. It’s a 24/7 news period, there is a 3-4 hour gap between when Capus got it and when it was turned over. *NBC News Pres. Capus stated this to Matthews on Hardball at 7pm after the Bryan Williams Evening News.

The “sane ones” (and that’s in terms of being able to function with tasks at hand and in the psychological and psychiatric sense) are the ones who are committed to their religio-governmental philosopy — as the ruling force for this world. That’s their idea.
The insane ones can barely function in any society and wouldn’t be even able to hold a coherent and understandable philosophy and maintain their own way in any socieity (Jihadist society or western society). We’re talking about being able to maintain and hold onto a coherent set of ideas and function in that society. The jidhadist have their ways and we have ours. Because they are different than ours doesn’t make them insane. However, what it does make them is evil — but evil is not insane.
This guy, the shooter is a nutjob and can’t even make sense about what his problems are and what his goals are — and if he has any philosophy that he spouts out, it’s a mish-mash of mixed up ideas in his own head. I’ve already read some of his stuff and have heard some of his own recorded comments. He can’t even make enough sense in his own statements.
At least the Jihadists makes some sense in the framework of their own beliefs and philosophies. This guy (the shooter) can’t even do that....

That wouldn’t be too surprising because Koreans write their names backward from the way we do it. So the A could still stand for Ax. Just one place he wrote it English style A. Ishmael, the other place he wrote it Korean style Ismail Ax (of course the spelling of Ishmael is different.)
