"You had a hundred billion chances and ways to have avoided today, but you decided to spill my blood. You forced me into a corner and gave me only one option. The decision was yours. Now you have blood on your hands that will never wash off."

"Jesus loves crucifying me. You loved introducing cancer in my head and terrorizing my heart, raping my soul all this time."

"You have vandalized my heart, raped my soul and torched my conscience."

"You thought it was one pathetic boy's life you were extinguishing. Thanks to you, I die, like Jesus Christ, to inspire generations of the weak and the defenseless people."

"Do you know what it feels like to be spit on your face and have trash shoved down your throat? Do you know what it feels like to dig your own grave? Do you know what it feels like to have you throat slashed from ear to ear. To you know what it feels like to be torched alive? Do you know what it feels like to be humiliated and be impaled upon on a cross and left to bleed to death for your amusement? You have never felt a single ounce of pain your whole life. Did you want to inject as much misery in our lives as you can, just because you can?"

"You had everything you wanted. Your Mercedes wanted enough, you brats. Your golden necklaces weren't enough, you snobs. Your trust fund wasn't enough. Your vodka and cognac weren't enough. All your debaucheries weren't' enough. Those weren't enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything."

Here’s the interesting thing about using the term martyr in referring to Columbine. After Columbine, everybody referred to the Christian girl who died as a martyr, a Christian martyr. I think there were even books written about her that used that exact term in the title. Nobody referred to the gunmen as martyrs.

At least the Jihadists makes some sense in the framework of their own beliefs and philosophies. This guy (the shooter) can’t even do that.

Their leaders might. However, those they get to blow themselves up, along with innocents, and other non-combatants are filled with hate, anger, and are every bit as fanatically crazy as Cho.

You said — “You do not think his refering to the Columbine killers as MARTYRS is pointing towards islam? Ismail is another sign.”

Nope, it doesn’t appear that way to me. I mean Columbine is probably — for him — an example of how to gain his “due fame” in the world. It’s a way to get a “message out” to the world about his poor pathetic life. I mean “monkeys” can “copy things” that they see works. He obviously knows about Columbine (who doesn’t) and he sees the attention that this got. What does he want? He wants *attention* for his perceived slights in his poor and wretched and pathetic life — in his twisted and nutball brain of his...

.

You then said — “Also, notice he had shaved his head which is also another ‘ritual’ muslims do before they undertake these missions. The police will know because they also shave their body hair, i.e. Mohammed Atta and the 9/11 hijackers.”

Okay, so “nutball” now wants to be “military hero” to the world. Yep, I’ll shave my head and play the part... Monkey see..., monkey do... He’s nothing but a monkey...

.

And then — “He appeared to be reading the words off of a prompt of some kind, and in a few places stumbled over them, almost like he was not totally familiar with them. Maybe someone else wrote some of those words.”

Yep, he did stumble. But, have you ever tried to do that. I mean write something down and then read it out on a recording or a video. I’ll guarantee you, unless you practice a few time — you *will stumble* when you’re doing it. You would have to practice several “dry runs” and become familiar with the wording — even when you write it yourself. Try it. Write a few paragraphs and then try to go through all those paragraphs in *one take* and not stumble or hesitate over a single word. Not many people can do it. And if you can — have you applied for a job on radio or TV?

.

Finally — “The style of the video was typical of what a Palestinian suicide bomber would make before blowing himself up. All in all, the jury is still very much out on an Islamci connection, but I thibnk there are certainly hints in that direction.”

Heck — everyone these days is getting into recording themselves. It’s getting to be such a popular thing that it’s really not anything that distinguishes one thing from another. I mean, people are even recording themselves having sex in the bedroom, on the bus, in the back yard — not to say anything about recording having babies, recording this and that — and the most *inane* things you’ve ever heard of. We have an *absolute proliferation* of people recording themselves today. People all want to be in front of the camera it seems — even the *nutballs*...

I asked this on another thread, but will try again here.

Any Freepers who are mental health professionals?

I wondered what in the world these “counselors” were thinking to say he was “depressed” and give him anti-depressants. No way was this guy depressed or ONLY depressed. Schizophrenia maybe? It’s the right age for onset. Why didn’t they look more carefully at the kid?

After 11 years of buying the Bill Clinton/Richard Clarke line, I'm going to be the one to convince you? I don't think so. If you're really interested, the initial warning was delivered via fax to the London newspaper al Hayat on July 16, 1996. The group (the Islamic Change Movement) claimed credit for the Riyadh and Khobar Towers bombings in Saudi Arabia, and threatening the next attack would come in the "morning dawn" (which, by London time, coincided with the explosion of TWA800). On July 18, the same group claimed responsibility for the attack. On July 20, at a terrorist conference in Tehran, the Islamic Change Movement was honored for their "recent achievements".

The Islamic Change Movement warnings were covered by the New York Times on July 19, 1996. Newsday and CNN also covered it. Most of the State Department's Daily Breifing in 7/19/1996 dealt with fielding (and deflecting) question about the Islamic Change Movement's threat and subsequent claim of credit.

If you have any interest in finding the truth, I've given you more than enough to work with. But asking me to provide you with "links" that are going to somehow erase 11 years of blind faith is a little silly.

If you're really interested, you can start by reading Yossef Bodansky's "Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War On America". And if you're just an agenda hiding behind a misleading screenname, you can skip the book and dismiss it all as "conspiracy theories".

It's your call. But, like I said, if you're still clinging to the Clinton line 11 years and how ever many stolen, shredded documents later, there's not a whole lot I can do for you.

You said — “Well sorry. It’s a 24/7 news period, there is a 3-4 hour gap between when Capus got it and when it was turned over.”

It was reported *immediately*. But the authorities had to come out there to get it. And I would imagine that not just *anyone* could get it. So, they would have had to go through a chain of command, then dispatch someone over there and pick it up.

There would be a difference in when it got into the authorities hands, versus, when it was *reported*. And so, it was *reported* immediately — according to the news conference.

He writes in images that suggest he was a victim of rape as a child. What child so victimized could believe the world was a kind and fair place?

I think his fascination with pedophilia, if explored as part of his personal history, will provide some clues as to his mental deterioration and rage.

You must be in Florida. The Baker Act only allows you to hold somebody for 72 hours for observation. I don’t know if other states have similar laws, but the Baker Act is the name of a Florida mental health act.

I didn’t hear any mention of a second color...based on the comments that I heard, that he wore a maroon color hat....maroon, is linked to an expression of a fantasy , much the same as violet, especially for a man...men usually chose a solid basic color...black, blue, white, orange...etc

You said — “Their leaders might. However, those they get to blow themselves up, along with innocents, and other non-combatants are filled with hate, anger, and are every bit as fanatically crazy as Cho.”

Actually no..., they’re not any more filled with hate than the FReepers were with Clinton and his shenanigans. In fact, I’ve seen interviews of kids (in the Palestinian Authority areas, in Israel) who are simply filled with eagerness to demonstrate their love for Allah and to gain “paradise” that they are just itching to be a “Shahid”. They are not filled with anger — any more so than I’ve seen FReepers about Clinton in his day.

Of course, I don’t know if I want to compare FReeper’s “anger” with Jihadist’s anger, in that sense either. The point is that both sides have a purpose, a philosophy and a set of goals. Both sides get “angry” in regards to their purpose — but it’s not a “crazy” type of anger — in the same sense that this shooter has — in terms of him losing all “cohernence” and any sense...

And sure, crowds can get worked up into a “frenzy” — like I’ve seen in some Islamic demonstrations — but I’ve seen the same thing with Conservatives, too and with people at football games — just screaming and yelling their heads off (but, of course, for another purpose). So, the frenzy and the anger — by themselves — are not a sign of insanity or inability to act in a coherent way.

Star Traveler

Is that an “88”? Random number, or a “Heil Hitler”? Did he have a problem with Duke rich kids (reference to the Group of 88), or maybe he means those dastardly rich Jooos. After all, it was Holocaust Rememberance Day. Interesting. And if the 88 has intentional Nazi symbolism, what about that “wrong” zip code?

If those pictures weren’t taken the day of the attack, then that’s at least the same outfit he was reported as wearing—black shirt, tan vest. The cap might be maroon, but it looks black in those pictures.

What Krauthammer says makes sense to me about the video. The Islamakazis do that all the time, speaking in their videos like they’re already dead and gone. Maybe this guy wasn’t a Muslim nutter (just a nutter), but it sure looks like he picked up a few PR tips from the Palestinian splodeydopes.
