April 20, 2007 -- IN a disturbing voice-mail message recorded on April 11, Alec Baldwin called his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, "a rude, thoughtless little pig" after she didn't answer her phone for a court-ordered conversation. Baldwin left a two-minute rant, shouting, "I made an a - - out of myself trying to make this call . . . You have insulted me for the last time. You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being." Insiders told Page Six the message was submitted as sealed evidence during Wednesday's custody hearing over Baldwin and his ex-wife Kim Basinger's rights to their daughter.....

So I ask you; when someone goes into that darkened movie theater and they sit down with their popcorn and they pray to God that the movie is worth the money, and some big red neck bastard don’t sit down in front of them, who do you think they’re praying to? Now, go ahead and check your text messages on your blackberry, and you go to your shopping excursions with mommy, and, with any luck, you might win the local school art contest, but if you’re looking for God, he was in movie theater #7 on the screen in Red October, and he doesn’t like to be second guessed. I think we maybe need to cut him some slack ............most of us would go a little crazy too after realizing how far we’d fallen. (OK that was sarcasm, no need to pile on)

OK, so he was a rude, thoughtless pig in this phone conversation, but I do have to grant him that I think he probably has a point about the behavior of both the child and the custodial mother who SHOULD see to it that the phone is turned on AND answered at the court-appointed time. His daughter has been apparently pulling these “phone tag” games on him for some time, and the father in this case dutifully making his court-ordered appointment when he’s supposed to.
Then again... I haven't paid to see a movie since I walked out of Dances With Wolves.
If the child didn't want to talk to him...she didn't want to talk to him. Period, end of story.
We know what side of the gene pool she got her decency and intelligence from, if they’re so low.
This is a very nasty custodial battle. The child is the pawn, but is probably also behaving like a brat. As the spawn of a Baldwin and Basinger, she probably doesnt have a chance....

Alec Baldwin is certifiable. He should be sentenced to the rest of his life in a rubber room. At times he sounds a lot like that nutjob who killed those kids in Virginia Tech.

I remember that........and I don’t blame Kim for exposing this. Alec Baldwin needs some serious intervention. If he can’t change after this he never will.
