“The Pink Sapphire Salon”? I went to Ann Coulter’s web-site to see if she had anything to say about this. She didn’t. But I think we know what she’s thinking.

The guy is obsessed with his hair. Remember the video of him “primping” (that is pRimp, with an “R”... just for clarity’s sake) before a TV appearance?

I just got a haircut today, and I gave my barber 20 bucks, which included the tip.

Wow, 400 dollars for a haircut. What does the Breck Girl’s “stylist” spray on his hair, liquid gold?

“Indeed!

A decent haircut should never cost more than $200!”

ROTFLMAO!!

Clinton’s haircut alone cost 200 dollars (in 1993). As far as the cost associated with idling Air Force One on the tarmac for the hour it took the Beverly Hills poofter he hired to cut his hair, as well as the cost associated with shutting down LAX for that hour, who knows?

Makes one wonder who would be a worse president: Breckgirl or Rudy-in-a-dress.

[GAD, America! Are these the best we can find??????]

from Boston Globe, Apr 17

THE PLACE: Pink Sapphire, a day spa and makeup and skin care boutique in Manchester (N.H.). A statement on its Web site says its mission is to “provide an avenue into the intriguing world of makeup.”

THE CLIENT: Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards has relied on Pink Sapphire to look good for the television cameras in New Hampshire.

Makeup for television is heavier than usual to hold up under the lights, said co-owner Ariana Franggos. The routine is similar for both sexes except for men, “it doesn’t involve lipstick” she said.

Franggos said she’s done makeup for John Edwards a few times but won’t go into details.

“I promise he’s not in here getting facials and cucumber peels on his eyes or anything,” she said. She’s an Edwards fan: “He’s fantastic. Great personality, very, very nice, down to earth.” She’s met Elizabeth Edwards, but hasn’t done her makeup.

THE PRICE: Pink Sapphire caters mostly to women, offering a “timeless bride” package for $225, a “teen years” makeup lesson for $30 and a $25 “socialite” makeup do for a night on the town. It also specializes in makeup for media and special events. According to Federal Election Commission reports, the Edwards campaign paid $225 for Pink Sapphire’s services, a $150 payment on March 7 and a $75 payment on March 20.

I do not know, but presume yes.

[Were campaign funds used to pay for haircut #1?]

And he's not being wholly forthcoming, either. Edwards has also had a $225 haircut at the Pink Saphire in New Hampshire.

Not a word about the PINK SAPPHIRE SALON!

Pink Sapphire Salon? They told me it was a working-class Bombay Sapphire Saloon!”

John Kerry paid $1,000 for a haircut back in 2004, so Edwards is actually saving money.

And politicians wonder why people don’t want to donate to campaigns.

PJ did a whole DUmmie FUnnies on William Pitt going to the mat for Edwards and his haircuts on DU last night. Edwards' supporters will still keep chugging the Kool Aid and sending in the checks even if he spends $4,000 on his next haircut.

And the 29,000 sq. foot house is not an embarrassment?

The man is a fraud! But then we all knew that from the start.

There is the 12 dollar haircut America and the 400 dollar haircut America and the haircuts in the middle(like my wife’s 80 dollar perm/style) are being squeezed.

Think about it folks....

With Edwards, the primping girlie Breck Girl —— maybe a real “blow while drying” haircut was involved for $400.
