My bad...and my sincere apologies. I did respond to you and was amiss in saying otherwise.

I support the effort to have nothing to do with, and not put up with the Rudy nomination. He is not conservative, and, IMHO, does not support the fundamental, core, moral values that define us as a free, God-fearing nation.

At the same time, as I have said, I am also saddened to see some of the long time people whom I have worked with against other liberals and socailistic issues lost from FR.

That's my point...whatever led to their leaving or banning, and stating up front and forthrightly that my opposition to Rudy is non-negotiable and fundamental, I will also not forget and pretend that these other individuals other efforts never happened...because they did.

Now...forward to getting a Hunter or Thompson on the ticket.

I think that using the term "swiftboating" takes away from the magificent work the Swift Boat Vets did for all of us. It sorta puts it in a negative way, ya' know?

I did not use that term to describe this, Jim Rob did.

I do understand your point, and maybe we should come up with another name for what we are doing.

I really don't think its negative towards those heros, the Swiftboat vets who saved our nation from a treasonist creep like John Kerry. It might even be seen as a compliment, and will make history remember what they did.

It certainly is. I can attest to that since you've already dragged me along with you to the tune of $90 total. By the way, we don't really know that all of the zots were bans or merely suspensions. With the exception of MiaT, I'm quite pleased to see the rest of them gone (assuming they were banned and not merely slapped on the wrist with a short suspension).

FR is not dying in the least. People have said and thought that before during similar episodes.

JR is just defining in crystal clarity his position on this issue regarding Rudy.

Some do not like that position, some do not like how he went about it. But it is his site, and that clear definition is, IMHO, actually a good thing and something needed amongst the conservative base to put their collective foot down in abject opposition to a Rudy nomination.

But that is simple my opinion.
