White House Press Secretary Tony Snow speaks at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.

Looking a little thin, Tony sat next to the President, who appears very proud of his Press Secretary.

Tony being introduced, and gesturing his thanks to the crowd. (I wish he wasn't so thin...sigh.)

I was NOT amused as I watched that program last night. I felt sorry for the President/Laura/Rich Little. They were in a nest of vipers.

White House Senior Advisor Karl Rove performs (or tries to perform) a hip-hop dance with comedians during the entertainment section of the annual Radio and Television Correspondents Association dinner.

Karl used a mobile phone as a prop during a hip-hop dance with comedian Colin Mochrie.

Karl even did some rapping.

Touchdown!

Yes, Tony is awfully thin. But he still looks like he has a sparkle. That’s the best good sign.

Former 'American Idol' contestant Sanjaya Malakar arrives at the Bloomberg News Gala which followed the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Every year for the last several, someone invites former AI contestants to the dinner. Constantine went one year, and I think Ace also.

Singer Sheryl Crow (L) and Laurie David, wife of actor Larry David, arrive for the Correspondents' Association dinner. These are the two skanks who tried to embarrass Karl Rove.

Sheryl Crow sucks.

Always has, always will.

"You work for me"???? Sheryl, please stop smoking the pot. It's clearly made you dumber than your average rock star.

He conducted himself most appropriately -— he showed that audience full of liberal haters what class and decorum are ALL about. God Bless our GREAT POTUS!

Amen, Onyx!!

Thank you for the Dose, Wolfstar. I think that it must have been difficult for GWB last night--perhaps that is why he looks at times pensive/bored/somber. It would be hard to know what to do/how to act bec. of what happened last week. As we all have said, GWB is a man of such class and character--he was most appropriate in all that he said and did, though. God bless he and Laura.

I almost hate to be first again.

Hi onyx. :)

The "first" thing is a Dose custom. I've never seen it anywhere else. So I don't pay much attention. I'm just glad you're here.

Rich Little told the funniest Lawyer joke that really tickled the funny bone of my attorney wife. It's probably old but it was new for us.

A man walks into a bar and he’s really pissed. The bartender gives him a drink and asks what the problem is. All he says is, “All lawyers are a$$holes.” A man sitting in the corner shouts, “I take offense to that!”

The pissed-off guy asks him, “Why? Are you a lawyer?”

He replies, “No, I’m an a$$hole.”
