In the Republican sweep of 94, Mass. elected two Republicans to the House, so it’s not impossible. Also Kerry is reputably in trouble, and if Curt Schilling decides to run against him, things could get interesting.

Good luck Oggy, I’ll do all I can. The only other Republican showing interest is former Boston College and Buffalo Bills lineman Fred Smerlas.

The two were incumbents who first won in 1992, they held on by unremarkable margins in ‘94 and lost narrowly in ‘96.
