If you deny a former felon's Second Amendment Right, why is the Bill of Rights called unalienable?

Don't get your knickers in a bunch. Ironically, 'rehabilitated' armed robbers and the like cannot be prosecuted for not registering a firearm, they are protected from such by the 5th amendment (no self-incrimination).

What is your criteria for mentally incompetent? Who makes the call?

These are not my rules, but the ones currently in use.

I believe the criteria used by the state currently involves involuntary commitment to a mental institution.

As for me, voting Democrat comes pretty close, as a general rule...

Special squads of police would be formed and trained to carry out the work. Then, on a random basis to permit no advance warning, city blocks and stretches of suburban and rural areas would be cordoned off and searches carried out in every business, dwelling, and empty building. All firearms would be seized. The owners of weapons found in the searches would be prosecuted: $1,000 and one year in prison for each firearm.”

Then this Special Squads? (huge army) of Constitution ignoring police? (murderers) would just disband and go back to where ever they came from and we would all live forever in peace and harmony.
