He’s certainly holding his own and then some! Such a dear, sweet man, I just know he’s getting stronger and healthier.

He was saying something similar tonight that apart from the pains across the head he feels better than he has for quite a while.

He constantly does the exercises for the hip when in the chair or in the bed and he feels this is getting stronger all the time.

I know help him undress and get into bed without the assistance of a nurse so this is again a step in the right direction and helps to build his confidence. In fact he says he prefers me helping him to the nurses as I help him better. I pointed out that I am used to helping him and I know how much he could and could not do before he broke his hip so I have an advantage over the nurses because of that.

On the other hand, he needs to concentrate on getting well himself. I'm so glad he's able to walk around. The pains in his head are worrisome. Hope it's only a form of migraine and not something more serious. He has been under tremendous stress, and that could cause migraines.

I’m so glad you told me he shares my feeling that he’s getting stronger necause I read that in your every post. He’s a marvel -— please tell him one of your co-Dose posters said that. A “marvel.” Hope that translates properly in the the King’s English or the Queen’s English. :0)

What would you like on your toaster

Since my toasters are few and far between, I have to really think about this! :)

I am thinking about one with GWB and Tony, but I am not sure. I will get back to you. Does anyone have any suggestions? My other toaster has a photo of GWB and Laura (I think it was when they were in Germany).

There's something in our national character that has become so sour and negative these days. I'm not just talking Democrat or Republican, left or right. You see it all over web forums like FR and many others. You see it on TV and in our popular culture. And you seet it in ordinary life at restaurants, in stores and elsewhere.

I have been watching a lot of movies lately from netflix.

"The Queen" is most excellent.

"The Holiday" is quite good too.

Both take place in England for the most part.

I have another movie from netflix to watch tonight, --- Stranger Than Fiction --- but it doesn't sound all that good to me.

I’m watching *gasp* Gerlado, but only because he’s having an exclusive interview with Jackson MS’s mayor, Frank Melton -— I love Melton and he just won in court against his enemies who tried to remove him from office on a variety of trumped up charges.
