My problem with him is his performance in that interview was not strong enough to bring over swing voters in a general election. That's a fact, like it or not.

You’re responding to a post that rebuts the absurdity that a presidential candidate should put family and health at risk for a campaign or for office.

As far as your impression of Fred Thompson’s interview, you are welcome to YOUR opinion. But here is a problem with YOUR opinion:

You haven’t polled swing voters so you have no idea what swing voters thought of the interview. Yet you claim your statement as fact.

Claiming a personal opinion as a general fact without backup is called ‘bullsh*t.’ One may state it as a concern but not a fact until the results come in.

Finally a presidential candidate who doesn't feel he has to wear spandex to prove anything to the voters. Kerry would have been well-advised to forego the 'I'm a top athlete' theatrics.

We want a president, not a botoxed olympian.
