Al Gore as Jesus Christ: Hotel Bibles Removed for 'Inconvenient Truth'
the national ledger ^ | may 2, 2007 | Jackson Simpson

Posted on 05/02/2007 11:53:06 AM PDT by blogblogginaway

They call California the land of fruits and nuts for more than one reason. Proof is presented every day and front and center comes from a Bloomberg Report that details that visitors to the Gaia Napa Valley Hotel and Spa won't find the Gideon Bible in the nightstand drawer. Instead, on the bureau will be a copy of "An Inconvenient Truth," former Vice President Al Gore's book about global warming.

Got that. If you want to read a bit before bed and get a little inspiration, instead of scripture you get to read some alarmist propaganda from a man that worships the earth while traveling around it in a private jet.

(Excerpt) Read more at nationalledger.com ...

So they think Al Gore's word is more important than Gods. Why am I not surprised?

Global Warming is the new liberal religion. Before, it was Marxism.

They exchanged one Book of Faith for another book of faith.

Kind of ironic.

A couple thousand years from now, we'll see which book stands up to the test of time.

I wonder if the “liberals” and enviro-nuts would riot if I flushed a copy of “Inconvenient Baloney” down the toilet?

Isn’t that where the BS is supposed to go?

Some of these global warming zealots seem as strict in thier beliefs as strict religions.

The carbon credit offset scam sure reminds me of the history of the indulgences people paid to the Catholic Church to absolve themselves of sin.

If true.
And if Gore had any respect at all for anything other then himself.

He would ask they NOT do this.

Something tells me he is mighty fine with it though.

Al Gore and his book are becoming a caricature of the environmental movement. How effective can Al Gore be as a spokesman if he is perceived as a caricature and not a genuine person?

Technically, BS is supposed to go in a field. HS is supposed to go down the toilet.

Both contribute to global warming, though, as all matter, fecal or literary, does.

Words cannot describe how absolutely sick I feel about this. Over the years many, many lives have been saved for eternity because travelers have been able to open the Word of God in their hotel rooms and have accepted Christ as their Savior. To deny them this opportunity for the sake of political propaganda is beyond despicable.

Obviously it’s a religion. However, since it’s a leftist religion, there will be no restrictions on the government “establishing” it with our taxpayer money.

This has already been done for “secular humanism” -
USSC: Secular Humanism is a religion for “free exercise” purposes.
9th Circus: Secular Humanism is NOT a religion when subject to the establishment clause.

The biblical term "fool" (hebrew: nabal - impious, abandoned, wicked, ungodly)describes this type accurately, IMO.

This is entirely consistent with the fact that this world-view is a heathen religion fueling a new fascist movement.

- there is tithing (donations to Greenpeace, Earth First, etc)
- there is the notion of sin (polluting)
- there are indulgences (carbon offset credits)
- there are oracles/prophets (GW researchers) and high-priests (Al Gore, celebrities)
- they rely on indoctrination at a young age
- it is considered blasphemy to go against their "wisdom"
- all evidence is to be interpreted only in light of their unquestionable "truths"
- they are moral busybodies that want to push their views on everyone else
- people who do not strictly follow their guidelines are considered immoral
- people who publicly support opposing views are said to be possessed by evil entities (corporations)
- violence is advocated by the most extreme adherents (ELF, ALF, Earth First, etc) to promulgate their "truths"
- they say we are DOOMED FOR ETERNITY unless we listen to them
- if we go against the will of their god (Gaea), their god will punish us (hurricanes, floods, disease, searing heat)

Is Al Gore Christ-like?

Time will tell if his preaching converts many people to the religion of carbon offsets.

And Al says we have 10 years before we reach the point of no return on global warming. After that, it’s time for environmental Armageddon. Unless, of course, we all buy enough carbon offsets so we can claim to be “carbon neutral”.

It needs to be stated far and wide that Gore’s “carbon offsets” are sold by HIS OWN COMPANY.

His “global warming” preaching is simply a way to enrich himself further.

CoasttoCoast Am had a guest, Jim Sparks, who was an abductee and a trustee for the boys upstairs. One of his tasks was to calm and direct mind-controlled abductees into large rooms containing a thousand seats with consoles. He was ordered not to look at any consoles but he did anyway and said that each screen showed a presentation about the earth being destroyed by humanity by way of global warming and overpopulation and just general causes.

Each abductee took away a deeply implanted suggestion that they would never identify as anything other than their own idea.

If this be true then AlGore is either a charlatan and a opportunitstic huckster profiting on the fears of the few or an abductee following his masters' orders.

Nope, Algore is just a prophet of Gaia.
HER word (Mother Earth) is far more important to the earth worshipers.

Take a black magic marker, and note how you feel about Gore’s work of fiction being used as a replacement for a bible.

Its easy, its fun, and very satisfying.
