Every question so far has cited some dumbass poll or another.

I really liked Tommy Thompson’s plan for Iraq. I really, really liked it.

Agree. Romney did very well on the poll question.
To: Old_Mil
Yes, I thought Romney’s answer was good - and strong economy, strong military, strong families - resonates with Americans.

Thompson came across as a socialist

I watched the debate that made Mitt the governor of our state. He is good. He just didn’t have a chance in Boston with the Dems in the state senate.

Brownback’s answer reflects a deep and profound misunderstanding of Islam and the goals of that religion.
Matthew’s response - that even in the so-called moderate countries hardly anyone supports us - is accurate.

Free Republic exists to advance conservatism and attack liberalism. That includes liberal candidates.
News Flash: Rudy Giuliani is a liberal.
What you posted was pure nonsense.

Listening to all these candidates on the issue of Nat’l Security compared to the Dems- it’s night and day. The Dems have absolutely no credibilty on the issue, and the American people will see that.

I thought Brownback was rambly; all these candidates should poo poo the polls, and blame the media. The polls are meaningless, and again, they should condemn the remarks of the democrats that are always denegrating our country both here and abroad.

Hunters answer was good, but Romney is giving the answer that Hunter should have.
Romney, very smooth, very rehearsed. But after 20-30 seconds, he started sounding like the rewind of a foreign policy speech on VHS tape. Still, you have to give points for preparation. And Mitt is an uber-Scout kind of guy.
McStain and Thompson looked overwound, like they'd spent the day drinking heavily at Starbucks.
I'm liking Huckabee more than I have previously.

All of these guys sound good. Although many say the GOP has a short bench, after seeing these 10 on stage it’s hard to agree with such sentiment.

The job for MSNBC? I think you answered your own question. The republican debate? Because this is the media climate that the next president will have to deal with daily.
