As they did to me when I returned from fighting the Communist I curse them. Anyone who supports a Democrat is in my book a terrorist supporter.

Are you aware that Giuliani dodged the draft to avoid service in Vietnam? Would you like to see his own Mayoral campaign's documents on that?

“That and the fact that such strong opposition from the far right makes Rudy even more attractive to the independents and moderates. In a way it may actually help him.”

You may think JimRob and other conservatives are helping him but I’m willing to bet that Rooty and the Toots wishes he wasn’t getting that “help”.

Wow, you’ve sure been busy, jedward. At first I thought it was odd on the “purging” thread that you, by all appearances and your comments leading everyone to believe you were a “newbie”, quickly became a leader here on FR. Now that I know more about your history, I can see why you didn’t have to “walk the walk” that most new posters do. You sure put on a good show but I probably wouldn’t have fallen for it at first if it hadn’t been for your FRiends who vouched for ya. LOL ;)

I’m sure you’ve worked very hard to get this thread up and running and I have no doubt that it will be very interesting and enlightening. You’re an old hand at this sort of thing so I’m sure it will be successful. Enjoy!

“”Rudy has broad appeal that a all the other candidates DON’T HAVE....””

None of the candidates of either side have the broad appeal that Rudy has, along with likeability and humor and cutting wit and intellect and.......

That's right: "I ALONE can stop HILLLL-AAAA-RRRYYYY!!!"

Will Rudy don a grey and red jumpsuit with a pillow under the shirt portion, al la George Reeves. Then again, Mr. Reeves was definately a better actor than Rudy, and that's not saying much.

I don't think Guiliani supporters will stay home.

Yeah, but a lot of conservatives won't vote for him.

Listen up, Rudytards.

Maybe you've missed recent events here on Free Republic where the owner declared Free Republic's mission to "swiftboat" Rudy Giuliani's campaign. This thread is one user's attempt to continue and expand that mission and YOU ARE IN THE THREAD DISRUPTING THAT EFFORT.

Your pro-Rudy posts are not welcome in this thread. Posts supporting any liberals (Rudy included) are not a healthy activity on this forum. We support conservatives and conservative causes. Polluting this forum with posts supporting pro-abortionist, pro-gun grabber, pro-homosexualist, pro-socialist liberals (like Giuliani) will not be well tolerated. I suggest, for your own benefit, that you knock it off. If you doubt what may happen, I suggest that you pay a visit to this thread and educate yourselves.

Free Republic is a conservative site and we fight like hell for conservative principles, conservative values and conservative candidates. The Republican party is pro God, pro life, pro family, pro constitution, pro gun, pro national security, pro national sovereignty, pro defense, pro limited government, and pro America or I would not have joined it or supported it. It is a conservative party whether you and your liberal troll buddies like it or not and I intend to do all in my limited ability to see that it stays that way.
And I repeat, the abortionist, gay rights supporting, illegal alien pandering, gun grabbing authoritarian liberal pig Rudy Giuliani will NEVER ever be elected to the presidency from the conservative party or I go down in flames fighting against him and you and your lame ass liberal troll buddies!
FR will not be used in an attempt to turn the Republican party into a liberal party or to elect a socialist abortionist pig to the White house. Get used to it!!

- Jim Robinson, 19 April 2007

Now, either get with the program or get the hell out of here. We've got a liberal candidate to "swiftboat" and a bunch of conservative candidates to support.

I don't think Guiliani supporters will stay home.... Yeah, but a lot of conservatives won't vote for him.

Clearly that's one of their options. The "no difference between Republicans and Democrats" line has been promoted here for a long time.

I don't understand why there’s so many Rudy haters here.

HAAATERS! HAAATERS! Valid criticism is HAAATE!

He is conservative enough for me, but then again, I think there’s more than just ABORTION voters are concerned about.

I agree. There's more than just abortion. There are gun rights. Rudy sucks there. Fighting the gay agenda. Rudy promotes it. CFR. Rudy loves it. Global warming. Rudy's a believer.

And then there's national security. Rudy's main contribution to the WOT is pushing a corrupt crony for the most important anti-terror job in the country.

So you're right. There are many more reasons than abortion to believe that Rudy is supremely unqualified to be the standard bearer for the GOP.

Rudy has broad appeal that a all the other candidates DON'T HAVE.

I don't see it. The guy hosed himself in the one debate so far, and Laura Ingram walked all over him. So much for him being a tough guy. He also cannot stay on message and continually changes his positions regarding abortion.

Maybe if you drink enough Rudy-Aide, the broad appeal becomes apparent. Just like any woman in a bar looks better with enough beer.

If his intellect is so great, how come he keeps fumbling every time he is asked a semi difficult question.

The only real difference between Rudy and Clinton is Clinton was a more gifted liar.

Clearly that's one of their options. The "no difference between Republicans and Democrats" line has been promoted here for a long time.

The best way to counter that line is for the GOP to nominate someone who doesn't so closely resemble Democrats in so many ways.

Last I heard the election is still well over a year from now. Rudy, Hillary or I may not even be alive by then. I think I’ll save my adrenaline for later.
