The story will have legs if someone in Brownback’s office, the purported source, will go on record. I can’t see Howard Dean being foolish enough to try to push this. Or, maybe I can. They really do worry about the free flow of information that they cannot control.

The other side, devoid of morals and intellectual honesty, always does it. They certainly believe what the communists believe -— the end justifies the means. They believe they are the ones who should decide for everyone, they are right, and it doesn’t matter how they lie, cheat, or steal to achieve their noble cause.

Some of them have compared an affair Gingrich had to the Lewinsky affair, as if there was anything to compare other than sex. Gingrich did not give an aide top secret clearance at the Pentagon. Gingrich did create a hostile work environment. Gingrich did not commit perjury or suborn perjury. Gingrich did not have thugs intimidate witnesses. Gingrich did not hide evidence. Gingrich did not try to fix a federal trial and, as the chief law enforcement officer, deny a woman her day in court. Gingrich did not turn in a false affidavit to the court. Yes, they both had sex with someone other than their wife. But that’s where it ends.

To those on the left, a parking ticket by a Republican is equivalent to Kennedy driving off the bridge and leaving a young woman to die. They each violated the vehicle code.

Doug, that is one of the most concise and damning descriptions of the leftist slugs and thugs in this country that I've read in a very, *very* long time.
