“The vast majority of the electorate is white (77%) and middle income or above (85%).”

So how do you think the 20 million illegal invaders will allign politically once they are given citizenship?
Around 70% of latinos vote democrat, why would you expect that to change?”

8% of the electorate was Latino in 2004. Bush got 44% of the Latino vote and Kerry got 53% with 2% going to Nader.
Bush’s 44% was up 9 points from 2000.

"...that documented the preferences of more than 400 participants in speed dating sessions at Columbia University. "

What the #%@!%# is "speed dating"??? I guess I've been out of the game for too long.

“Bush’s 44% was up 9 points from 2000.”

Got a link for that, somehow That sounds like Texas figures, which were much higher than those nationwide.

At any rate when the margin of victory is only 4 million votes, and 53% of 20 million new voters voting dim, that will be the death of the GOP.

OK, don’t think I’m weird to ask. I am a white guy raised in the south. Recently I found out a Midwestern girl I liked a lot had dated black men in her distant past. It really turned me off. How would those here feel? I really like her, but I feel like I hit a wall when I found this out. Should I reconsider? Not trying to start anything, just genuinely struggling with deep-rooted feelings. Sincere advice would be appreciated.

She should run, not walk, as fast as she can from you.
You would make her life a living hell.

Hawai’i, despite the words, isn’t so hung up on race as the mainland.

Beg to differ..........BIL, lived on Maui for 14-15 years. Said his family and himself...would NEVER be totally accepted based on their WHITENESS. Nothing else.

Didn't matter if you were Mexican, Japanese, Columbian, Iraqi, as long as you were brown skinned...you weren't haole. And thus looked upon as "one of us".

MameLukeSabre,

After being single (divorced) for five years, I finally had the chance to (seriously) date a genuine natural redhead ...

Now I know (truly) why Shakespeare wrote the line in Hamlet ...

"Angels and Ministers of Grace ... Defend Us !"

Here was my situation after spending THREE (3) agonizing months with the woman ...

My thankful letter to the "Feminst Majority Foundation" ...

==============================================

2007-04-15

Good morning.

I just wanted to thank you for your very informative and professional website "Feminist Majority Foundation (www.feminist.org).

It has been very helpful to me ... and you have my genuine thanks. You need to know that I "am not" being cynical with my letter.

I've been dating an attractive professional woman for about three (3) months now.

Of all the women I've dated since my divorce (five years ago) I have occasionally marveled at how frequently she casts herself as a "victim" through the various episodes of her life.

Selecting a bad husband, even worse boyfriends after her divorce, poor career decisions ... all of which she is the "victim".

As a working professional myself, with two adult daughters, I am genuinely sensitive to ethnic and sexual decimation issues in the workplace.

Such behavior is wrong and should not be tolerated.

However, the woman I've been dating has taken that "common-sense" level of concern ... and often raised it to an absurd level ... blaming institutions and men for what (quite frankly) have been poor life choices on her behalf.

Last night she was showing he favorite websites on her computer, and I noticed the "Feminist Majority" internet link in her "Favorites List".

After visiting your (very well done) website this morning at the office, I much better understand her "global" moral-political mindset ... as I now understand her to be a "hard-core" semi-radical feminist.

Alas ... she and I will soon be parting company ... based on my belief that she (as a feminist) sees herself as a "victim" to a long parade of life's circumstances ... compounded by her frequently very poor decisions ... all wrapped in a psyche that seethes with anger and rage.

So you have my genuine thanks, sparing me from years and years of domestic torment with this woman.

She will stay quite happy and content as a feminist ... and I won't be (falsely) included in the long parade of men in her life that have "virtually destroyed" her life and peace of mind.

Have a wonderful day ...

P.S. I think I'm going to see if Ann Coulter or Condi Rice are available for dinner this weekend.

Max, you might want to see this...when you date interracially, it’s supposed to stay within the HUMAN race.

The biggest problem, at least in terms of their skin: the penchant of white women in their teens and twenties for sunbathing, to achieve that “healthy” tanned look. Asian women, OTOH, seem to have figured out long ago that excessive exposure to the sun is bad for your skin.

Asian women try to be as pale-skinned as possible - that's the beauty ideal there.

Part of the cult of the outdoors, I’d say. In S. Cal., it afflicts women of nearly all ages.

White women who consistently date, or dated, a string of black men — unless they’re in a heavily black environment — are likely to have issues. What exactly those are, you’d have to determine individually, perhaps.

Such an interesting article, thanks for posting it. As an Indian male, who has been living in US for the past 8 years, I agree with most of the points mentioned in this post.
