good point.
well, not that part. Don’t wish hell on anyone.
The first clause in that sentence is confirmed by the last clause.
Because 1000s in NYC think he is a saint and should be president...and they support this bloodsucker----with their blood....and money
How witty. I never saw that coming.
Then he'd be in REAL trouble!
Persecution comes in different forms. I do believe that the attack on Christianity in this nation is a form of persecution. The passing of laws which go counter to Christian beliefs is also a form of religious persecution. I know it’s not the same persecution that Christians face in Communist or Arab countries but it is still persecution. I agree with you that things will get worse since God has stated thus. Matthew 24:37,38
Somewhere under a velvet cloth in his attic is a portrait of a young, nice-looking socialist British lad, unmarked by time and evil..........((( shudder )))
Hitchens is Jewish on his mother's and maternal grandmother's side. Is he anti-Christian and anti-Catholic due to some kind of hidden persecution complex?
He's got some kind of complex, that's for sure.

>>CNN’s Memoriam to Falwell: The Hateful Rhetoric of Christopher Hitchens<<
You know its bad when a news organization shows much less class than Larry Flynt.
>>Upon hearing of his death, Flynt released the following statement to Access Hollywood:
“The Reverend Jerry Falwell and I were arch enemies for fifteen years. We became involved in a lawsuit concerning First Amendment rights and Hustler magazine. Without question, this was my most important battle the l988 Hustler Magazine, Inc., v. Jerry Falwell case, where after millions of dollars and much deliberation, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled in my favor.
My mother always told me that no matter how much you dislike a person, when you meet them face to face you will find characteristics about them that you like. Jerry Falwell was a perfect example of that. I hated everything he stood for, but after meeting him in person, years after the trial, Jerry Falwell and I became good friends. He would visit me in
California and we would debate together on college campuses. I always appreciated his sincerity even though I knew what he was selling and he knew what I was selling.<<
I saw the vile little creep tonight on H & C’s show...
...what a bombastic ass he made of himself on that show...I especially liked the part where Ralph Reed was invited to get a word in edgewise and Hitch started sputtering about the Abramoff scandal, to avoid even the hint of a response to his asininity...regardless of this clown’s position on any issue, his zeal to quash and distort positions other than his own deserve and will receive no respect from me...how pitiable he is, and so consumed by hatred for something he brays aloud, time after time, doesn’t even exist...
