Bad blood between them, even since the Washington Correspondence Dinner when Clinton was president. Clinton went after Rush personally implying he was a racist. It was so bad that even Chris Matthews said that Clinton owed Rush a public apology.
Rush just talked about it. It was all friendly, hand shaking and polite conversation ... Clinton even tried chatting up Rush’s date.
