I an sure the good people in Florida are wanting to heave over comments like this. I was living in Florida at the time he was elected and voted for him. Another one of the "hold-your-nose-and-vote" elections. This is why we must stop blindly voting GOP.

WTHeck! What is this guy smoking? If the GOP continues to push this SHAMNESTY, then I’m gone from the Republican party because it will become clear to me that they don’t give a crap about this country. I expect this time of garbage from the RATs but the GOP should know better.

"Republican National Committee Chairman Sen. Mel Martinez rejected the claim that the new immigration bill will anger conservatives and destroy the GOP's chances to win in the 2008 election." What planet is he living on?
If the GOP thinks 2006 was bad, just wait till they get a load of 2008.

This IDIOT NEEDS TO GO . It acts like a DNC plant.

Now this mouthpiece for the worst media relations WH since Herbert Hoover is both stupid and a danger to the RNC !

Republican National Committee Chairman Sen. Mel Martinez rejected the claim that the new immigration bill will anger conservatives and destroy the GOP's chances to win in the 2008 election.
Martinez is either delusional or completely out of touch with reality.
All he has to do is scan the morning headlines. All he has to do is listen to the major talk radio programs today, and he will probably get an earful.

On CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer Sunday, Martinez said immigration "could be the saving of the Republican Party, frankly. And to do nothing would be the wrong thing for the American people."¡VIVA LA RAZA!
To: devane617
Does anyone else think that a guy named Martinez could just possibly have a conflict of interest here?

Apparently, Teddy Kennedy thinks the immigration bill will be the final nail in the GOP’s coffin.

What a fricking incompetent buffoon. Does he think the 12 million hispanics (which will probably end up being 50 million extra in 40 years) will go GOP? No. They will go to the party that gives them the most handouts. This bill is a disaster for the party.
To: devane617
Tell the GOP NO!! to their solicitations for contributions. Let them know we’re fed up until they get their house in order. I will contribute to a fund that will allow the President to “redeploy” to Mexico.

With my tin-foil hat firmly in place It is now my comclusion that Jorge Boosh is a Dim plant. I think he and Karl Rove were put in place to destroy any remaining part of America, and leave the scraps for Hillary.

The only thing that will save the Republican Party is to quit acting like Democrats. It gets them tossed everytime.

The higher your position in the Republican party the greater your distance from the voters. People like Martinez, Bush, etc. either have no idea what people want or they are so arrogant that they don’t care.
