Is that a mug shot? Where’s his dark hair which was clearly visible in the surveillance tape? Shaved his head to try looking less like the perp? There’s an Edwin K Hall age given as 51 in the Olathe - Shawnee Mission - Cottonwood KS area, easily popping up on the Search engines, but this guy didn’t appear in my search. Could be the father or an uncle...

He’s in custody since last evening, and is to be charged with premeditated murder and aggravated kidnapping. See post 265. He lives in the area. He’s the guy in the surveillance video. Even while the cops were saying that didn’t have a suspect and were asking for more leads, they were already questionning this guy. Shortly after ending the questionning he was detained and the announcement was made late last night. They have his dark old pickup truck, too.

A very sad ending which is becoming all too frequent these days. Something has to be done to these predators to make them think twice before doing this. One good example as someone mentioned on the other thread used to work...hanging in the town square. Of course we are too “PC” these days and the trial will go on and on with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn’t help himself.
John Walsh AMW has said time and time again never let anyone put you in a car and take you someplace else because that usually ends in death........that’s easier said than done as in this case. Her father said she was a fighter and would not be taken easily.
I just can’t figure out why there are so many sexual predators out there these days.
I guess we will have to arm women and children with more defenses. I shop alone a lot of times, but always make sure no one is following me or near my car when I leave. Particularly vans which are used for snatch and grabs in parking lots. It is easy to think there’s safety in numbers at a shopping mall, but anything can happen anywhere.
Our daughters are grown now. I was just telling another Freeper who was on this thread, that we sent our daughters to dance classes for years, and how I wish we would have sent them to self defense classes instead.
