God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer,
nor His mercy from me!

Heavenly Father,

You are our hiding place, Great God. You preserve us from trouble and You surround us with songs of deliverance. You instruct us and teach us in the way we should go; You counsel us and watch over us. Let our mouths speak Your praise, O Lord on this blessed day that You have made, and let all flesh honor Your Holy Name for ever and ever.

Hear our prayers for Your servant, George W. Bush as we seek Your highest blessings for him. Help him always to walk humbly before You. May he never be consumed with his own power, but instead may he always derive his power and strength from You. Help him to understand that You are the vine, and he is a branch, blessed with all power, ability, and strength from the vine. We pray that You would fill him with the knowledge of Your Will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. We ask for Your special favor to be upon his marriage, that You would grant him and Laura a love everlasting. Increase their commitment to You and to each other, that they may honor You by holding sacred their vows to each other. We ask that You would continue to protect them on their journeys and enable them to arrive home safely no matter where their responsibilities take them. Renew and restore them at the end of each day, Lord. Help them to be each other’s friend and confidante, and let their relationship be founded upon Your unconditional love.

Lord, we know that You hear our prayers and we thank You for the faithfulness You have shown us and for the blessings that we enjoy as Americans. We ask You to continue to defend our country. Please protect our military personnel and give them tremendous vision as they carry on this war effort on behalf of all Americans. We boldly pray for victory, Lord, as we acknowledge that NOTHING is too difficult for You. Restore in our nation the firm resolve for liberty and justice for all, and make us ready to sacrifice whatever is needed in order to obtain Your very best for the peoples of all nations. Please bless those who visit this thread each day and all who lift up our President and America to You. We ask You to inhabit our prayers and make them pleasing to Your ears, that we may honor You. We pray that Your highest blessings would descend upon America and upon Israel, Your chosen. Be exalted, O God, and may the Heavenly Hosts praise You with joy and gladness. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“There fell down many slain, because the war was of God.”
- 1 Chronicles 5:22

Warrior, fighting under the banner of the Lord Jesus, observe this verse
with holy joy, for as it was in the days of old so is it now, if the war
be of God the victory is sure. The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and
the half tribe of Manasseh could barely muster five and forty thousand
fighting men, and yet in their war with the Hagarites, they slew “men, an
hundred thousand,” “for they cried to God in the battle, and he was
entreated of them, because they put their trust in him.” The Lord saveth
not by many nor by few; it is ours to go forth in Jehovah’s name if we be
but a handful of men, for the Lord of Hosts is with us for our Captain.
They did not neglect buckler, and sword, and bow, neither did they place
their trust in these weapons; we must use all fitting means, but our
confidence must rest in the Lord alone, for he is the sword and the shield
of his people. The great reason of their extraordinary success lay in the
fact that “the war was of God.” Beloved, in fighting with sin without and
within, with error doctrinal or practical, with spiritual wickedness in
high places or low places, with devils and the devil’s allies, you are
waging Jehovah’s war, and unless he himself can be worsted, you need not
fear defeat. Quail not before superior numbers, shrink not from
difficulties or impossibilities, flinch not at wounds or death, smite with
the two-edged sword of the Spirit, and the slain shall lie in heaps.
The battle is the Lord’s and he will deliver his enemies into our hands.
With steadfast foot, strong hand, dauntless heart, and flaming zeal, rush
to the conflict, and the hosts of evil shall fly like chaff before the
gale.

Stand up! stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song:

To him that overcometh,
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally.

C.H.SPURGEON

SOLI DEO GLORIA!
