Paris banged up ... again (Prisoner Riot Feared over Hilton Special Treatment)
The Sun ^ | 6-9-07 | EMILY SMITH

PETRIFIED PARIS HILTON mouthed “I love you” to her parents last night — before being carted off to face a hostile reception in prison.....[snip]

[snip]Prisoner number 9818783 was put back in her special cell — isolated from other inmates — amid fears the angry lags could RIOT over her special treatment.

Wardens even ordered a lockdown as prisoners — who think Paris pretended to be sick to con doctors — threatened a revolt.

An insider at the prison in Lynwood, California, said: “The women inside the jail are seething. They say if you’re a rich white girl you get special treatment.

“They are furious that while Paris had her own special cell with a panic button, was given better food and was kept away from the general population, she was still released early.

“There are girls in here with cancer, TB, and with MRSA. They aren’t allowed to go home and are treated by prison medical staff.

“The prisoners think if you’re rich and pretend you’re sick you can get away with murder.

“Many of the girls have been locked down in their cells all day because they are so furious. The jail is full of screams about Paris.

“Prison bosses fear this could simmer over into violence.”

Ex-inmate Lisa Caprie said she suffered a nervous breakdown inside but was kept there.

She said: “We heard Paris was treated like the Queen of England. It’s not fair. My husband fought to get me out when I had a breakdown but they didn’t listen.”

And Elana Lamb, set free with an ankle tag, said Paris made a nuisance of herself by repeatedly pressing a medical alert button.

Lamb, 38, said: “She was just whining, complaining she was cold and hungry.”............."

Poor woman. (I said a rosary for her this morning on the way to work.)

Clearly her comment about doing time in county jail was scripted by her lawyers, but it was the right thing to say...one would wish she’d thought of it herself.

She needs help. I hope this fiasco is the beginning. Her parents seem to be enablers and keep bailing her out. What she needs is some truth and discipline.

In an eerie way, this all reminds me of Princess Diana and her eventual death...chased by paparazzi. I hope it’s just bad vibes. Paris needs to retire to private life.

Please spare us such preceptive distortions....

She created her idiot image all by herself. Remember her traveling all over the country working for different folks.

She is what she is and if she wasn't a Hilton with lotsa money...she'd be...well, just plain "working" folk like you and me.

SHE SELLS NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES AND NO MORE.

The Hilton women have a history of being on the wild side in their younger years. This is just keeping the tradition going.

As you mentioned, she traveled all over the country with that reality TV show, met people in all walks of life. Some common sense and kindness (not the right word, but you know what I mean), should have kicked in. But her role was to act the rich, spoiled darling, and I don’t think anyone encouraged her to be Oprah. Where’s the fun and ratings in that?

She was driving at 70 mph with no lights and with a suspended license. She also showd utmost disregard for her own plea bargain. Help me understand - how does that make her the American Marie Antoinette?

Just as a disabled or mentally handicapped prisoner is going to require special handling, someone famous is NOT “just like everyone else”<<<<<<<

There are plenty of disabled and mentally handicapped people in jail. In the case of Hilton, she has spent the recent years of her life playing to the media, virtually daring them to photograph her breaking the law. I’m real sorry it’s so traumatic for her to actually have consequences for her actions, but this may save her life and that of the potential victims of her drunken driving.

She didn’t just drink and drive, she was given probation, like “everyone else”, and defiantly violated her conditions at least three times. Being a spoled brat is not a mitigating circumstance to allow her to stay out of jail. The fact that she has cultivated her celebrity status doesn’t give her a pass. There are plenty of rich people who live quietly and go about their business, but she hasn’t chosen to do that.

Yes I do think they would risk all over the issue of Paris’s early release, they are too easily led by their emotions, that’s why they got into trouble in the first place. They are easily swept away by anger.

She has passed “wild” and landed in disgusting. That doc that I posted originally came from a website called “Paris Exposed”. She had a storage unit and didn’t pay for it. Someone bought the contents and man! there is some garbage on that site. This woman needs some serious help. Some guy named Brian Quintana has a restraining order against her too. What a messed up woman!

Paris gets paid as much as $100,000 to show up at LA's hottest clubs. If promoters are will to pay her,why shouldn't she capitalize?

Our jails are bursting at the seams. This is because we are filling them with people who drove without a license or puffed some mary jane. House arrest seems a good alternative, and it costs the taxpayers much less. If they violate house arrest, double the sentence and fine them. A net profit for taxpayers in that case.

Paris’s mom does seem like a nice lady, I was impressed by her when I saw her reality show.
