I realize that perhaps I’ve given up hope in the process but I really believe that this bill is better than the status quo. Anything tougher than this bill no democrat will ever pass.. it does address some border security but sending more people and building parts of a wall. ANYTHING is better than the status quo. Anyone who thinks Republicans are going to have 60 seats in the senate anytime this century is just plain dellusional. So why not take the next best thing?

No matter what, I'd be pissed off about the illegal immigration sell-out but the timing just multiplied my feelings to the point of seeing red. The bill was announced just a couple weeks after the Mayday marches of illegal aliens, running around demanding "equal rights".
When I walked home that day all I could think was "Yes, that's how you win people over: proudly display that you're a law breaker by ensnarling metropolitan traffic and screaming like a bunch of two year olds. Guess what: you ain't gonna get what you're whining about."
And then, BAM! Americans were backstabbed with the amnesty bill.
Bush can go to hell, along with every Senator that supports the bill.
So . . . what is the alternative legislation preferred that has a chance of being passed? That final clause is the most important in the question.

The establishment of the North American Union, the next step toward the New World Order, depends on the destruction of our borders, which this bill will facilitate.
The president has to have this bill in order to move those plans along. Without it America still has a chance to survive, but I fear Mr. Bush is not very interested in America as we know it.

But those numbers are no surprise to those of us who watched California get transformed from a pleasant American state into a 3rd world wreck. If we don’t defeat the Axis of Amnesty it will happen to your state soon. The entire country will look like California, and not in a good way.
