Sorry, but the "times have changed" canard doesn't fly. Has human nature made a fundamental change in its character in the last couple of hundred years? I doubt it. Death and destruction has followed mankind the entirety of its history. The only difference between today and the distant past is that today, the means are readily available to make a 100 lb woman the match for a 200lb man. I refuse to accept the idea that the average person is a crazed killer if given the opportunity.
The safest place in America today is at a gun show. That says about all we really need to know.
