I’m almost 50 and if I or the groups of people I’m with, see litterers, we make every attempt to see that they clean it up. (yes, I have turned litterbugs in)

A couple of years ago, We were canoing the Medina river near Bandera Tx. The river was running high and swift that day. As We rounded a bend, We saw 2 guys in a truck dumping raw septic sewage into the water. By the time We could get back to where they had been, they were gone. We talk to the local authorities but, never heard back from them.

I have a cousin that runs the maintenence crew for one of the largest and predominantly hispanic catholic churches in town. He is on site all day.
He hates it. They leave dirty diapers under the pews, the toilets are stopped up every day, among other messier things.
He says he has never seen anything like it.

Actually, here they prefer goat. They buy them live and kill them and cook them in their front yards.

Um, I don’t want to speak for Holicheese, but I really don’t think he was defending either Bush or Bush’s amnesty plan.

Another totally nasty habit of theirs is throwing their used toilet paper on the floor of bathroom stalls instead of flushing it. I guess this is a hangover from their lack of proper plumbing, and in L.A., in lots of restrooms, there would be signs instructing people to please flush it down.

Yes, that is one of many things I do not miss about life in L.A., used toilet paper on the floors or in full garbage cans of many public restrooms. My understanding is that the plumbing in Mexico cannot handle the paper so they use it and leave it.

Isn’t there a country somewhere that will provide workers for the jobs Mexicans don’t want to do?

Oops, I forgot, Mexico has very strict immigration laws and deports more illegal immigrants every year than the US!

Once in Arizona, I was waiting to use the dressing room in K-Mart (gasp)..and out walked a woman and her little toddler. When I went in the room, there was large puddle of urine on the floor.

I walked out in disgust. I don't know who did it..her or the kid!
