I heard this on the radio yesterday.
China said that they never asked the World Bank to omit anything. They “just did”!
China never did deny any of the other facts. They’re probably happy to have 750,000 less mouths to feed.

That satellite images show that dust has been making it’s way here since 2001. Residue has been collected in AZ and NV.

NASA sets up it's own annual tracking of this mysterious dust cloud event: Doesn't seem to be a mystery here.

Much like most everything else, our government will do nothing to address this problem.
Well, they may have some hearings.

There were reports the dust may have carried the viruses that caused a deadly foot-and-mouth epidemic that hit the nation's livestock industry last year. We could catch something quite deadly from these emissions, and by the time we realized it, it would be too late.

Foot and mouth is not the only virus that can be aerosolized. I think you know that though.

I bought a quality pair of New Balance shoes for $75.00. Equiv. Chinese was about $50. I know the Chinese shoes are toast after 12 months, so the US made shoes only have to make 18 months before they are a better value.
We can compete, and if we do with shoes..then pretty much anything. Changing out Tax system and anti-business laws, and we’ll be fine.

If you mean retail, yes there isn’t that much different. Cost of Goods is another thing altogether, and that is what i mean with the 90% cheaper comment.
You are right that many items made in China are rubbish, have had a few experiences with this....

That is interesting, as ProMedMail.org is still reporting out breaks of foot-and-mouth a couple times a week.
I have not been reading them, just noting the headline, not enough time in a day.

The carbon credits, since China owns about 40% of them, is VERY similar, if not the same, as the Lend Lease program that was set up by Stalin with us during WW2.

We can’t compete in manufacturing because China doesn’t have as stringent laws for just about everything.
