QUOTE OF THE DAY
President Bush Participates in a Conversation on the Americas
Hyatt Regency Crystal City
Arlington, Virginia

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. Please be seated. Thanks for coming today. In my recent trip down to Central and South America, I told the folks that we were going to host a conference here in Washington, a conference to promote best practices, which really says, how best can the United States help people in our neighborhood

Laura and I had a magnificent trip to Central and South America. It reminded me of the importance of having a peaceful and prosperous neighborhood. It's in our interests, in the interests of the United States that our neighborhood be healthy and educated. And so this conference is an attempt to bring together key people of my administration and faith-based groups and private sector groups from the United States, as well as our neighborhood, to discuss how we can work together to promote social justice, to help people realize a better life through good education and good health care.

Not that I have heard but more than likely it is just how the camera freezes the shot if you look at this photo he has just got out of the chopper, he would have had to bend his back to do that.

Why doesn’t the press show at least 10% of these pictures??
Answer: Because they show a president who is engaging, on the job, and a first lady who is absolutely magnetic. Reason why his poll numbers are low? Pictures tell a thousand words. It would also help if the twins were in the papers every now and then. You would see at least a 20% increase in the approval ratings. Bet on it.

Hi snugs, thanks for posting the dose.

I like the first picture in #22 of Gates with Olsen. I was reading some information about Olsen today that impressed me, and that is a good picture of the ceremony.

How is your dad these days snugs?

I’ve got to get groceries tonight but I’ll check back in when I get home.
