He stated that "since Iran is ten years away from developing a nuclear bomb" (a dubious claim to begin with) we should not be ready to attack them.

He then went on to speculate that a "Gulf of Tonkin" type attack could soon be staged, by the US or the Israelis, to justify an attack on Iraq.
